By playing a PuG game, with people from BSN.

That's how I remember what it's like to score fourth all the time, again! 




Yes, this was (almost) entirely random.

Suicide Nader was the player from "Operation: Get This Man a Quarian, Stat!". He's been playing for less than two months (and he is outscoring me regularly in Gold, now.) We met up and opened the game to randoms.

We ran into JediHarbinger by pure chance. After a couple of games, Kittstalkur joined - again by pure random chance.

I was even wearing my "tryhard" pants (by which I mean I played a game as the Drell Assassin. This last game was with my Shadow, though.) I think I killed two things in the first two waves.  I basically ran around behind everyone watching them melt stuff.

These were some of the smoothest games I've ever played. They were definitely the smoothest PuG games I've ever played! 

Conclusion(s): PuGs are awesome players! Random matchmaking is funny! You guys need to leave me stuff to kill, occasionally!

 Pfff...scrub . I learned humility the hard way too, last time was a 18 min platinum glacier run, I end up last . I thought PUGs were supposed to boost your e-peen.

Well when I want to feel bad about myself I join my friends platinum games, I'm always dead last on the board. Yeah it feels soooo good!

I recall a time when self-epeen boosting/boasting was mandatory on the BSN. It seems now that the winds have changed. Gotta try putting myself down to be lifted up too some time

Heh. I'm just trying to get Shadow Extractions, honestly. I'm not that great with the kit, mostly because I try to play it like a Krolord. Was fun though.

Knew I wasn't going to do all that well overall when I saw two other Infiltrators using Harriers though. ;P

As soon as I started playing with people on here, my avg finish spot went from a solid 1 to maybe if Im lucky (meaning the fourth was a true random) third.

First game we had Glacier Hazard and I was the KroganHulk..

Got sync killed by a banshee in the earlier waves..  Felt really ashamed like i let everyone down to be honest but Jeremiah picked up the slack and saved us!

Really had some good games.

It was fun rolling with you guys!

Yes, Nader has discovered the joys of a TGI with his Harrier II.   He does only have a two month-old manifest, though, so it's understandable for the jump to Gold.

I didn't even think of the fact that I was using my Carnifex. Wouldn't have made much difference, though, since I don't think many baddies lived long enough for me to even aim my gun at them!

Dat armor-focused Shadowstrike, tears Rippaz apart.

It's also fun exploiting the quirks of the ability to stay outside of Brute and Banshee melee range. You might've noticed that a couple times.

4 Infiltrators on Gold. Judging by the lack of medals probably running full Level III equipments and spawn-nuking with Rockets.

Awwww. I'll join you in Platinum. Then you won't be fourth. Plus, I'll get really drunk, and keep singing Irish folk tunes with completely made up rude, random lyrics, so you'll definitely have a good time!

Nah. Jeremiah and I were Shadows, the other two were an SI and a TGI, both with Harriers.

The only nuking that happened was a whole lot of missile spam on the Reactor hack we got on wave 10. I had no part in that nonsense.

You pretty much have to force me to use missiles. I'll only bring them out on targets (and try to downgrade the target if I can catch a spawn), or if we're absolutely surrounded and need some breathing room.
