I don't know if this is where I should ask about this but it is a really annoying problem.
Basically whenever Liara and Garrus remove their helmets to talk in a cut-scene, signalling that my Shepard should follow suit, he doesn't and I have to listen to all of the emotive voiceacting whilst staring at his stupid opaque visor,
I am using the Cerberus Nightmare Armour but I have tried with Infero aswell and the helmet still stays on. I know that they are full body armours but I am sure that the 'toggle helmets off in conversations' option has worked with the Inferno armour in the past.
Is anyone else having this problem and does anyone know how to fix it? Thanks in advance for any help.
Shepard's helmet not toggling off in cut-scenes.

Set it as torso/helmet components in Coalesced.

Sorry I'm not very good at using the coalesced editor. If you can could you please where to find the Nightmare armour file I need to change and what I actually need to do to it?

Add this to biogame\\sfxgame\\sfxplayercustomization\\torsoappearances:
(Mesh=(Male="BIOG_HMM_SHP_FBD_R_DLC.FBDj.HMM_SHP_FBDj_NH_MDL",Female="BIOG_HMF_SHP_FBD_R_DLC.FBDj.HMF_SHP_FBDj_NH_MDL"),GameEffects=("SFXGameContentDLC_EXP_Pack003.SFXGameEffect_UniqueArmor_Phantom_Weapons"),Id=113,PlotFlag=24820,Type=CustomizableType_Torso,Name=813580,Description=813581)
Add this to helmetappearances:

Watch the line breaks when you copy the code out.

^ Thank you very much for your responses but as far as I can tell that hasn't worked. I put the codes in the places you said and tried to play but Shepard still has his mask on during conversations when everyone else hasn't.
I just thought I'd give some more information in case it could help you or anyone who tries to help solve this.
I have used the gibbed save editor to add the new Cerberus armours to the game without having to unlock them normally and I am using a texture mod to add an N7 skin to the armour.
I do not want a helmet-less version of the armour but only want the armour to display without the helmet in keeping with 'hide helmet during conversation' option in the settings menu.
From my experience and what I have seen this has previously worked on full body armours such as the Inferno armour and I don't know why it wouldn't be now unless this is an actual bug or design choice.
Sorry for the wall of text but I hope this is useful for people trying to help. Thanks in advance for any help.

You need to change your armour to the versions in torso/helmet first. Texture mods will not interfere with this, but the save mod will; in order to use the versions above, change PlotFlag=24820 to PlotFlag=-1.
This works on all armour sets, no bug.

I've done what you've described above and it gives me the helmet and the torso of the nightmare armour but the shoulder, arms and legs pieces of the other armours remain over it.
How do I turn them off? I've been all along the sliders and there is no 'blank' option for those pieces.

Ah, I forgot about that. You have to create a new invisible one for each.
Arm:
(GameEffects=(""),Id=7,Name=339526,Description=339527,PlotFlag=-1,Type=CustomizableType_Arms)
Leg:

Shoulder:

Thanks for that, I never would have worked that out on my own. I'm now wearing the armour.
I'm not getting any stats appearing on the side though now, for any pieces or one piece armours. Is that normal?
Edit: Managed to work out why. Had to add something into the GameEffect "" in order to fix the problem. I added "SFXGameContent.SFXGameEffect_PartBasedArmor_HealthBonus" to everything.
Now every piece is displaying their stats again.

It does blank the info comparison out, you're right, but I'd advise keeping gameeffect blank for the invisible armours, else you'll bump the buffs up higher than they were intended. Kinda cheaty.

I confess to liking the comparisons on screen, it's just a personal preference.
Plus with how easily I die on Normal, I think I need all the help I can get.

Thank you very much for your help that has done it and it works now.
However, I was just wondering does the armour retain its stats now and what would you have to do differently if you wanted the Spirit and Shade armour to do the same thing?

Stats will be kept. If you want to change the effect, you want SFXGameContentDLC_EXP_Pack003.SFXGameEffect_UniqueArmor_Phantom_Powers and SFXGameContentDLC_EXP_Pack003.SFXGameEffect_UniqueArmor_Phantom, IIRC.

AHadley23, this is extremely belated but - I spent a week wrestling with removing the helmet on these armors, and your instructions finally made it click. Thanks so much for the help!
