So my friends and I are looking to use some pretty unconventional weapons and kits against various enemies for some community challenges we've seen (i.e. krogan solider, sentinel [original, not warlord], adept, and vanguard using only krogan weapons [graal, claymore, and striker] against reapers, firebase giant, gold or a team of quarians using the adas, arc pistol, and only one person can use the reegar against geth, hydra, gold, etc). The goal is to finish fast without using rockets unless its an objective wave.

Now we aren't looking for amazing stellar 8 minute times since we aren't using the highest DPS kits/weapons (i.e. GI/ SI/ TGI/ AIU with claymores, javelins, harriers, etc) but we are looking to get times far lower than just 20 minute runs. What are some strategies? I'm assuming the best is to set up before each wave to control a spawn, move in and destroy that initial spawn without rockets and then clean up? Maybe have a dedicated geth scanner guy and check to see where the new spawn is and uniformly move in, destroy, and move on? Or is it just make sure to be awesome players, kill with absolute precision, and move like clockwork?
