The thing that's in the Normandy Lounge in ME2 and ME3, looks like a chair with a dome on it and has flashing lights, like some kind of techno hair dryer.  They are all over the place in Citadel too.

Me too. Not holographic necessarily though, just a 360° screen. The noises when you are near it sound like an old arcade game, IMO.

I always thought it to be a VR game, that works a bit like the Matrix, I wonder what games Shepard would play maybe something like the sims that simulates normal life.
