Is it just me, or do Overlord and LotSB sound way too similar to be truly different pieces of music?

Don't get me wrong, they're freaking fantastic, but still.

I prefer to remove music entirely from any an all games I play....some games do not allow me to and that irks me. Mass Effect also screws majorly on this department as it ties gameplay music and cutscene music so when you remove music from gameplay proper you remove it from cutscenes too

This combat track from Arrival is one of my all time faves. Hearing it play as you fight your way to the radio tower, seeing the ever closer Mass Relay coming towards you, is just breath taking.

Rag on Arrival all you like, but that was a pretty mad sequence.

Battle on Eden Prime.

In every battle it plays (I recall quite a few times they reused it, apart from the two Eden Primes in 1 & 3), it's basically god mode on for me.

And when the asteroid collides with the relay, you can listen to the best track of the DLC.

Agent Combat from LotSB.

Can't really pick a BEST. Among those i like most are:

- The main Mass 3 combat theme (the one that plays during wave 11 in mp)
- The one that plays when you fight Wasea and her entourage in Mass 2
- The one that plays pretty much whenever you fight Collectors, Mass 2 again.

One does not simply turn off music in mass effect. Turning it off is instant critical mission failure

In almost any other game I maybe could turn music off, but not in mass effect. Best music ever composed for any game.

Uh....but I like it, I merely turn off music during gameplay from ANY AND ALL games I play regardless of whether I like the score or not


 
What pissed me off about Mass Effect 2 and 3 is that removing the music from the gameplay ALSO removes it from cutscenes.....and ME's scenes with no music are much less awesome
