Valmy, I heard the "something to bite down" conversation at least twice! That at least has not been cut (if you mean the Morrigan dialogue).

He meant the actual prybar and thing to bite down on, not the convo. Having a prybar by one of the tents would be a nice touch though

And Mary wont get away with platonic love.

I like pestering Mary about the lack of a Sten romance. She keeps telling me it's already in there.

Well, at the end of my first playthrough when my heartbroken mage had to deal with Alistair sacrificing himself, Sten had allowed as how she might go on the ship with him and go back to his home.

...

I guess that's romance.  It's a cruise, anyway.

Duncan! Duncan, Duncan :D  for an easy first place.  I always try with my human noble, one day I'll break him  :wizard:

Then, in current order:

Loghain -- naughty in a "oops i killed the king, did i do that? " way, plus the voice....rawr
Roirdan -- sexy accent so smooth and understated it melts butter -- he purrs
Sten -- cause i love my mod, and I always travel with cookies.
Of all people, Ser Otto.  Seriously, that man has a mouth. Plus, great likelihood of being good with his other senses :D

If I had to pick one, Duncan.  Loghain is close though - once I talked to him a bit I just loved his dry wit, the sarcasm worked for me :)  I'd love Riordan following me around the game though, doing color commentary for me
just to hear him.    His voice is simply perfect -- so low it almost makes you lean closer to hear him clearly...

Slightly off topic:  A character I really liked though was the very flamboyant blood mage in one of the alienage quests late in the game (found his name, Caladrius - which is a very interesting name to have chosen, given everything...).  His body animations, mannerisms and voice were just priceless. As a companion someone like that would have been an absolute riot to travel with  :P  I kept imaging him, in a very dramatic oh-woe-is-me tone, to say " Oh DRAT. Now look what you have gone and done...I chipped a nail. " ;-)

Did you ever ask the Templars at the Chantry about him after you finished the Orphanage? If not, you might change your mind once you hear what they have to say. ;)

Teaghan. Oh, and a character or two wouldn't have minded giving Riordan a nice send-off to the Archdemon. If Alistair is going to be off getting some on the night before the battle... LOL

From the companions: Oghren, because my female dwarf feels discriminated :P

From other NPC's: I think the list is shorter if I sum up the ones I DON'T want to romance XD

If the game let me? I'd have gone for Kardol of the Legion of the Dead. He left a good impression when I first ran into him in the Dead Trenches. He was the commander of his own army so it was easy to identify with him. I loved his hard-ass and devil-may-care attitude so he'd have been my first choice out of all the dwarves I ran into.

Probably didn't as I didn't find his character very exciting, outside loving the mouth - I didn't care for his a) character or B) voice at all   - I will this time around though, i keep finding so much I havent experienced yet in this game -- think I may even have a save point outside of that...   The father in the basement of the place where you pick up Shale has a similar model as does one of the guards I noticed at the end as well...

I would have liked to see a romance with Cullen with my female mage because it would have been forbidden.

Slept with Morrigan but i liked Leiliana more she was better GF material. However given the chance i'd totally do Anora and be king myself.

Yes, I cut off Leliana's head for my beautiful Andraste.

Other than Andraste i'd say Kaitlyn in Redcliffe or perhaps a bromance with Duncan

Sten, Shale, Loghain and The archdemon would have been great romancing options

I'm sure he'd go for a tussle on the side.

As a mage I'd have to say Cullen. I think it would have made a very sweet yet possibly tragic sub-plot.

Though as the thread topic implies, either Sten or Ohgren would have been interesting romance options. Steve Blum is one of my favorite voice actors and can make a drunken dwarf sound sexy. As for Sten, I just like his general attitude.

Wife: So Sandal what did you do today?
Sandal: OH BABY WHAT A DISCOUNT!
Wife: O_O

awww man my character would have been a **** with my romancing choices while I enjoyed romancing Alistair and kinda romancing Zevran, I would have loved to romance Gilmore, I had a crush on him for sure, romancing Sten would have been awesome I felt something at the end of the game, I thought it would be fun to romance Oghren after he hits on you while being drunk,I wouldn't have minded Teagan as well, but to top them all off was Roirdan, I think you should have had the option of romancing him, I mean his first appearance was hot. Coming out of a prison cell with barely anything on....oh dear Maker help me.

But girls really want to romance Loghain? That guy gave me the creeps....

But wouldn't it be fun to romance Shale?

Of the three listed: none of the above.

Some of the npcs, yes, the other companions, no.
