So here is the updated revised suggestion:
The first four slots will be the most frequently used gears, under them it will be categorized as Uncommon gears first and Rare after a little scrolling.. (Not nearly as much scrolling as now)

While I like the improvements you've made more than the current system, I would have to agree that the text would be too small on TVs (especially if someone isn't using an HDMI cable - this was an issue for ME2). Additionally, I think that they should treat gear like weapons, in that they should be selected once and remembered for each character. An improved UI like this should really go towards the ammo/armor/weapon consumables.

The commonly used gears is a nice touch. I see the point about the text and even with a size increase, I still reckon that's less scrolling than the current system.
Agreed, I've always wondered why they never did this in the first place.

Yeah I was thinking about that.. I'm the kind of person who alternates alot bestween gear for my characters.. When they are low level I often take something that gives them more shield, when they're higher something that boosts weapons or powers.. I see where it comes in handy for just choosing other characters, but a reset on those choices I would prefer for when promoting them.. :happy:

Nice update to the design. I would also say that the text can be a bit bigger and then perhaps have less air above and below the red line. That way you can see all images and their text below.
