I add awesome players to FL, soon entire FL becomes Plat worthy, then Plat games, credits and fun reliably.

you can have your ecks bawks not login for you, and just go to preferences and select offline before selecting your avatar.. i do that with grim when i want some...alone time with him...Jeremiah12LGeek wrote...

I also know that eventually a "friend" will want me to play something when I don't want to, but i'll end up doing it anyway a few times and then never playing with them again because i've got stuff to do at times. I'd be much more willing if the PS3 could hide yourself from being active to your friends list, like the Xbox. All we have is that yellow circle by our names (busy or something), which is obviously a lie when what your currently playing is shown below your profile image.
Actually, once you know how the Xbox system works, it's almost impossible for someone in your Friend List to successfully hide. Frankly, if you're in someone's "recent players" list it's virtually impossible.
Not that it would make you feel any better, but it doesn't really work on Xbox, either.

There's a catch... I don't really want to explain, though...

i also have a bad internet connection. by the time everyone readies up, i get disconnected as host and everyone's time is wasted. as host, i can start a match and never worry about losing consumables through laggy games and/or through less disconnects, nor do i worry about wasting everyone's time by having them ready up just to have me disconnected.
i do feel bad for people who show up in my game and are forced to play a laggy match or lose consumables, but without some sort of connection preferences, what's anyone to do?

No friends.. some days I rock, others suck, so I get nervous to send a friend request.. only ever pugged. Also I'm in my thirties so it's weird to invite what may be teenagers anyway.
Hey me too. Maybe we should start a club for old farts.

Me three; I just turned 37. I know I've got a handful of younger players in my friends list because of weekend ops but I'm always thinking, god kid you don't even know me. Most of them are very good about not giving out personal info though (unlike me) so that's good. But the part of my brain that grew up with stranger danger in the 80s is always a little freaked out in their honor.
