What would BSN say if it turn out that next Mass Effect Multiplayer would be a MMO like e.g. SWTOR?

Personally I would be really mad. I like this "horde mode" and I would like to see also the pvp mode.

Edit: Please vote in poll!

I'm little bit afraid of that because of their policy of microtransactions. I don't think that shareholders fired ceo because of that.

Not if a profit is to be made. SWTOR was still a financial success. Just because it hasn't beaten WoW, doesn't mean it didn't make a ****load of bank

Um, they're two completely different types of games.
I highly doubt they're going to go In a completely different direction with the success of the current multi-player, and considering this was their first time developing a MP experience I feel It would be a waste to focus on something else after what they've now learnt.
They could use the knowledge they now have to refine the next games MP which I see as being similar to this.

Also I despise grinding =[

No thanks. Even PvP seems far fetched. Bigger, more open battlefields (NOT CONDOR). Maybe vehicle usage? 6 or 8 players instead of 4 (Next gen consoles should handle that easily).

What the hell do you think ME3 MP is? The content is soooo dyanmic with such varied rewards that are not RNG cards in no way possible. What we do in ME3MP is the same **** people do in current end-game WoW

Unfortunately this is so true. Usually In MMO you have some story line so you unlock stuff through the game but in this convention they had to add troll RNG to earn on microtransactions.

Yeah? Tell that to KotOR. :crying:

I was sooooo sad when I learned KotOR3 was shelved in favor of that MMO...

NOOOOOOOO! I promised I would never go back!

But on topic I hope they avoid a wide scale MMO. Certain elements would be nice but not overall.

I thought for a moment that our console players would save us from such possibility but after I saw "Defiance" trailer I lost my hope, they can do it in any convention.

Specifically the grinding where It Is the same action repetitively.
ME3 you have the ability to change your class, race etc. much more easily than in an MMO.
Yes you can do this In an MMO too, but which MMO lets you readily switch between 60+ characters that you do not have to individually level.
ME3 does a better job of keeping things fresh.

Pretty much, This MP isn't just horde mode -- It's a ripoff of WoW Wrath/Cata end-game without an open world. They could have at least had some decency and Copy/paste Phantasy Star's Social HUB or actually add structured bosses. Don't get me wrong -- I like this MP. The enemies are varied and each faction is well fleshed out so well it makes grinding a blast.

If you argued that the enemies are animated and fleshed out enough that they are interesting in each encounter, I would have agreed with you

but these characters only have 3 abilities. Most of them are copy/pasted from other classes and only introduce one poorly animated/bugged action.

TERA and GW2 have much more in-depth classes that they dont need to add characters.

NUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!

MMO people are really REALLY fanatic! More than usual! A mass effect mmo would make these types of people reach critical mass!
