Um, they're two completely different types of games.
I highly doubt they're going to go In a completely different direction with the success of the current multi-player, and considering this was their first time developing a MP experience I feel It would be a waste to focus on something else after what they've now learnt.
They could use the knowledge they now have to refine the next games MP which I see as being similar to this.
Also I despise grinding =[
What the hell do you think ME3 MP is? The content is soooo dyanmic with such varied rewards that are not RNG cards in no way possible. What we do in ME3MP is the same **** people do in current end-game WoW
Specifically the grinding where It Is the same action repetitively.
ME3 you have the ability to change your class, race etc. much more easily than in an MMO.
Yes you can do this In an MMO too, but which MMO lets you readily switch between 60+ characters that you do not have to individually level.
ME3 does a better job of keeping things fresh.
If you argued that the enemies are animated and fleshed out enough that they are interesting in each encounter, I would have agreed with you
but these characters only have 3 abilities. Most of them are copy/pasted from other classes and only introduce one poorly animated/bugged action.
TERA and GW2 have much more in-depth classes that they dont need to add characters.
I think that it is ok that they are simpified - now I had a headache how to spec them out, if they have more abilities my mind would explode
