Reading this thread made me realize that Mass Effect came out for Wii. Wow...
Too late to start multiplayer?...

I assumed this at first also, but I believe it's actually 15% less damage done by you (your weapons/powers/melee.)DarkerCompanion wrote...

Pick up as much health as possible first thing. Max out that tree for maximum shields.
The Siege Pulse has an upgrade at level 5 that gives you 10% damage reduction per stored pulse. The level 6 upgrade gives you a 4th pulse, for 40% DR +15% from your Fitness tree. This leaves you with a massive store of health and 55% DR, with the ability to health steal while meleeing enemies, not to mention disabling smaller targets while doing so.
This is correct. Power Transfer causes all of your attacks to deal 15% less damage; has nothing to do with your damage resistance. Might also be worth pointing out that the Squad Command option doesn't increase your damage--only your teammates'.

Just make sure you buy the packs in a smart way, like buying Recruit Packs till you have finished the common stuff, Veteran Packs till you finish the Uncommon then work your way up from there... Least that way you are not wasting your credits for getting something far cheaper then what you would have originally... No point spending the 99k for a Premium Spectre Pack to just get some Common stuff you could have spent 5K on getting

Yes! Come play! Just try to forget about unlocking UR's, and focus on the fun of the gameplay. Otherwise you'll be disappointed in a hurry.

Just a tip for the OP - Don't get into the mind set of wanting only two or three specific things, or as people said, you'll be frustrated with the random store.
Thanks for confirming. The Squad command bonus is much clearer in the in game info at least.PelloJiranha wrote...

Yep, get in there and have some fun. Start with Bronze to get used it as MP is harder than SP. then work your way up to higher levels.

He's a melee character IMHO since he dies once damage comes due to shields being so high. So you need to melee to boost his sheilds. Otherwise he's a tank because he can't be sync killed like all the other characters which makes sense since he's essentially a prime as I see it. Downside of starting with him or playing him a lot at first is that you don't use cover with him and he's slow. Movement and cover are your survival in MP. So it can start a bad habit. However, the plus side is that it can get you used to other things like the maps and waves and how each faction behaves. Actually, for learning all that stuff, the juggernaut is probably the best best as you won't die a lot. Just remember to heavy melee to boost shields. He's a tank. But slow. The turret is meh but good for gaining points and doing damage at lower levels. I don't use the shield much. I forget what the other power is called, but that does some decent damage at lower levels.

Add me if you want to get into some platinum rounds. I can help you get geared faster. Just play a power heavy class (vanguard only if you know what you're doing), or the Juggernaut.

I will say it's a good time to join, you have many new stuff to unlock, and you will find many interesting features don't appear in SP mode.

It feels a little late to me, Just got a copy of ME3 free on the pc, so far been kicked out of.. a lot of games even thou I have played X360 copy for a while now.
I've been playing on the PC for about a month now (moved over from PS3) and its normal to get kicked randomly, despite your N7 rank etc.

Its never too late to start playing ME3 MP.
Just remember that some of the common/uncommon weapons are pretty good when maxed, I bought recruits to max my common weapons, veterans to max my uncommons, and am now good to go - have been playing up to golds so far without being carried much
I've been spam purchasing normal spectre packs at the moment, just for the higher chance of getting the consumable cap upgrades. The harder decision for me now is whether to stick to spectre packs to unlock higher weapon mods and equipment faster, or just start buying premium spectres to start working on that massive ultra-rare pool...
Welcome to the best part of the game

probably the most addicting/fun I've had on the PS3 to date.. I"m in Defiance beta and so far not impressed. I've been playing ME3 multiplayer the past few nights at not in beta.
