Space Quest 5 and 6 - I couldn't stop laughing after seeing Space Quest 5 at a friends place and seeing the multitudes of ways that Roger Wilco could die. I've only 5 and 6, and briefly played the others though.
Mechwarrior 2 - Took me ages to figure out how to get this game working on my old 486 computer. When I did, I haven't stopped playing it until I got a computer with Windows 7, at which point, I had enough of trying to make the game work.
Mechwarrior 2: Mercenaries - This game is among the first to get me started with online multiplayer. Used to dial up to some cheap internet service on 28.8k telephone modem to play online. Almost had a career playing this game. Joined some online leagues, got into tournaments, and took home some prizes.
Warcraft 2 - Spent endless hours playing multiplayer over modem with people I knew in school
Grim Fandango - The first adventure game to fully immerse me and still makes me want to play it today.
Jane's F/A-18 - The co-op and depth in this game consumed a lot of my life. Because of the audience the game brings, it also makes me feel good to know that I have shot down real life fighter pilots in multiplayer!
Starcraft - Well, I still play the series today. I had somewhat mixed feelings about the game when I was younger, and I was never much of a strategy fan, but it's still a top-notch game. A step up from Warcraft 2.
Wacky Wheels - Almost forgot about this game, but it was crazy fun. One of the better games I had for the ole 486. The graphics were pretty good at the time too. Hmm, need to find and load this up again!

Contra - Used to always play this on the NES with some friends during my early life. It's imparted such a strong memory on me that I still remember the cheat code: up down up down left right left right b a b a.

Super Mario Brothers with Duck Hunt Getting Your NES games to work!
Excite bike
Blades of Steel Hockey
The Legend of Zelda - I blame this game for my non ability to go through a game without looking over every nook and cranny and killing every enemy before I move into the next area... “If you don’t kill all the bats you could miss out on a boomerang!”
Super Mario Brothers 3
Doom
Tetris for Game Boy
Mortal Combat on Super NES/ SEGA Genesis – spent endless hours with my friends playing this game.

Perfect Dark (N64)
Turok: Dinosaur Hunter (N64)
Turok 2: Seeds of Evil (N64)

Star Fox (N64)
Pokemon Yellow version (Game Boy)
Loved the N64. Definitely a console ahead of its time. I still own two N64s. Looking to sell one.
The center of my gaming world, and what got me really into gaming, was Prefect Dark, The first two Turok's for N64, Zelda games, and Pokemon.
Absolutely hated that Perfect Dark Zero crap. The hell happened to Rare? They use to be so awesome back in the day.
At least they redid the graphics for the original PD for 360. Don't ever ever play that game with me. You will be violated. Repeatedly.
Unless of course.. you're into that.

Perfect Dark: The combat simulator was always fun. I used to love turning on the slow motion mode so I could pretend I was having a shootout as if I was in the Matrix.
I loved doing that too. Combat simulator was awesome and even better with split screen. Sometimes I would use the special sims like Vendetta sim and Kazi sim. Vendetta was a little bish once you killed him.
Or I'd make the level full of N-bombs and have a bunch of Rocket sims scrambling about.

- The Secret of Monkey Island: I like to think that it was one of the reasons behind my interest of learning to read well and fast (I was 6 when I first played it);
- all the other Lucasarts adventure games: because they're all awesome and I thankfully had a cousin that lent them all to me (the only one I personally bought was Grim Fandango);
- Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine: I was (and still am) a huge fan of Indy; I played this game a dozen times and I also made my brothers and sisters play it;
- Lego Racers: it was probably one of most played games in our house, it was silly and fun and we all loved it; that music, along with the main theme from Yoshi's Island, still haunts my mother's dreams;
- Superstar Soccer Deluxe: it's still the most fun I ever had with a soccer game;
- Yoshi's Island & Donkey Kong Country 3: they were my platformer fix and I can no longer play a platformer because of them. I'm totally burned out.
- Age of Empires: BIGDADDY!

Big Bertha! ICBM!
Well, lots of titles already mentioned...
GTA1 + GTA: London + GTA2...lots of mad 'killing spree!', 'killer frenzy!' and 'genocide!'-sessions on those.
Diablo 1: Butcher and caves-section used to scare me. Still a moody as heck game.
Max Payne 1: Because it's the one and only MP-title and Jack Lupino is crah-zee, awright. Incidentally one of the few games where I refrained from hax in my younger days.
Disciples 2: Damn cool gameplay, and Legions of the Damned are made of awesome and win. May get around to fiddling with things via editor on it one of these days again...
C&C - Tiberian Sun: First Engrish title I picked up as a kid, and did not understand much of anything back then. Completed it years later and appreciated its genius on the Nod-side of things.
Freelancer: being a pirate and camping trade-lanes was, and still is all manner of lawls.
Warcraft 3 + TFT: used to burn hours upon hours on the custom games section, long before the DotA-wave swarmed it - even played some of the early versions of that, which were still quite inspired, really. May have to look into it again, see whether that has eased up a bit.

Quest for Glory series: A great blend of Adventure and RPG mechanics and one of the first games I played that offered multiple unique playthroughs based on character class. Great selection of characters with a good blend of story, humour, and challenge. You could also export your character into future games which really made the character feel more like your own. Plus it as one of the first games that let Thief characters actually be thieves.
