Perfect Dark: The combat simulator was always fun. I used to love turning on the slow motion mode so I could pretend I was having a shootout as if I was in the Matrix.

I loved doing that too. Combat simulator was awesome and even better with split screen. Sometimes I would use the special sims like Vendetta sim and Kazi sim. Vendetta was a little bish once you killed him. :bandit:

Or I'd make the level full of N-bombs and have a bunch of Rocket sims scrambling about.

Man I hated those N-Bombs, especially when someone on my own team was stupid enough to throw them near me.

I hated them too, but sometimes they're just plain fun.

I have to admit hearing the gasps and groans from the sims when they get caught in them is still hilarious to this day.

While I did start with NES and a bit before, my fondest memories lies with the SNES. I don't think I'd ever touched the original Mega Man games, but Megaman X was definitely my favorite. X had fantastic agility, the level design had all sorts of hidden goodies(and even a hadouken upgrade), with epic boss fights and a great soundtrack. What else can be said? The sequels never held the same quality to me, but whatevs here's a kitty.

Myst, while not amazing to some, greatly inspired my interest in video games as an art form. I loved the atmosphere, the mystique of it, it just oozed of awesome to me back then. I'm nostalgic for Ocarina of Time, but more due to how I got it. I wanted it for christmas, and my mom told me on christmas day that she wasn't able to get a copy...

I opened up the box, and I saw a box of gold, with a sword and shield enameled on its top. I nerdgasmed. While I'm more nostalgic towards LttP as a game, that moment was an important gaming moment for me. I definitely "grew up" with that game.

I grew up with literally every major Bemani game imaginable. Dance Dance Revolution, Guitar Freaks, Drummania, Para Para Paradise, and Keyboardmania. I judged a tournament in Michigan once. Watched 2 guys dance to "It's Raining men". Won some awards for Para Para Freestyle and Routine. "If I'm hardcore" for any genre, it's the music genre.

The list could go on quite a bit, but the games above are the big ones.

Good god Reezy. I thought I was the only one. Still makes me chuckle as well. Sometimes those sims can be so stupid.
At least when they throw the Laptop gun as a turret, it never has ammo in it. They just shoot all the bullets out of it and then just throw it at you. But only the dumb sims like meat and easy sims.

How could I forget this one? Banjo-Tooie would be one of my favorite games of all time.
