Precisely, which is why the Raider is the Supreme Overlord.

What is this...alliance?  I can recognize followers of Claymoar as brothers of the book, kinfolk, seekers of the path of the true boomstick.  We see the obvious truth that the reegar that boometh not may not a boomstick be, and the piranha that boometh too often and too small is naught but an echo of greatness.  I have also heard of an exotic and strange tribe that venerates a sniper rifle with aspirations to boomstick, but members of this clan are few and far in between, and their odd ways keep them on the fringe of our great society.

But I have heard of no alliance.

Thou shalt observe the proposition of the Alliance when the time arrives.

Assuming the one by the name of Kany pulls through.

You're...here for serious analysis??  Wow, ok.  In that case, here's a pretty good thread to check out:

social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/343/index/15954434

I also saw somewhere that the Raider has the second best DPS in the game, not sure what #1 is, and I can't remember the source to boot.

You're not close to my level.

Thanks for that, I needed a new desktop background (Colonel Meow as a zombie was kind of starting to freak me out).

In all seriousness, I like the wraith, claymore and pirahna, too.  I just reload cancel better with the Raider than the claymore.  Wraith and Claymore are probably easier to use at range since they both have waaay better accuracy.  I use the pirahna on kits that need a raider type of gun on them but a lighter cooldown.  Tehcnically, the Riader is subject to the weight adding mods glitch (where you'll not get the weight added and get the better cooldown instead) as is the wraith (and I believe the claymore).  So I should acutally be able to get a better cooldown with the raider than the pirahna.  But I find that glitch likes to turn itself off and on so if I need a lighter cooldown but a fast firing rate, Raider's little cousin comes out to play.

That dumbed down Claymore and the girly Wraith wish they could be as manly as the Raider.
