I can raise any issue I please, but thanks. :)

This actually isn't true. For instance, referring to a year old poll regarding EA's success in the Consumerist poll isn't really relevant to the discussion, which is often how threads go off topic and I become all scowly.

Just because the poll is a year old does not mean that there wasn't/isn't a general opinion floating around out there regarding consumer satisfaction with EA's services. And this thread was started by someone who is dissatisfied with EA's decision on microtransactions. It's entirely relevant being that we are all paying customers who are voicing our opinion on the change in service provided by a company we've sunk money into. But if you want to close down the thread because the reference I made was in regard to something over a year old - splitting hairs. I think you just don't like my opinon. I pay good money to play EA/Bioware games. So does everyone else on these forums. (And now they want more.)

I find it unprofessional to be telling the people who invest money in the company: "You can't say that." And this is said by those who earn an income from said company.

It doesn't matter what you "invest." You're on Bioware's front lawn. You'll do as they ask.

It isn't a BioWare decision, its up to EA. Obviously.

I'm talking about having the freedom to voice your opinion over a company's services. More of you need to take pride in what you pay for and stand up for the quality of the products you buy. Don't let these corporations boss you around and tell you "This is how it is."

Your money is their lifeline. They've brainwashed you into thinking they can spoonfeed you whatever and you're gonna shut up and like it.

Very clever on their part.

But it's wrong.

"freedom to voice your opinions" is worlds away from "EA is the worst company in America." Can you see the massive, mile-wide difference between the two?

No. That sounds like an opinion to me. Hyperbole - yes. And a bunch of people agreed on it. Not saying it is my opinion. I merely brought it up in reference to the OP's dissatisfaction with EA's green light on microtransactions. As soon as someone doesn't like the opinion - quick let's shut them up. Let's invalidate it because it's from a year ago. Let's remind everyone that we're on EA's front lawn and if god's willing and the creek don't rise - we'll do as we're told.

Ok.

:::shrug:::

Have it your way.

Enjoy your microtransactions everyone! :D

Hyperbole again.

The difference is because one shows a clear lack of perspective (anyone who thinks a luxury company is worse than one that actually makes people homeless has an objective problem with perspective) while you can have an opposing position without being so drastic.

I hate MP. that doesn't mean I go around saying, in a serious tone of voice (like those sad saps who voted this in were serious), that MP is worse for the world than Hitler. That would be an ignorant, critically foolish thing to say that adds no discussion and serves only to attack.

"EA is the worst company in America" fits into that definition^.

I am probably repeating something that has been beaten to a pulp already:
Don't like them don't use them. It is another option to how one can play their game. Nothing is forcing you to use this method. Look at it as more of a donation if anything or one of those 50 cent machines that pops out a toy or something.

Heck I also view it as another choice and I thought people here wanted more choices on how they play their game. (Just being a little silly here)

Hey, Hitler wasn't that bad of a guy.

After all... he did kill Hitler.

But if Hitler wasn't that bad of a guy, and he killed him, that means he killed a "not that bad" kind of a guy! That's atrocious!

This thread is now locked as its deviation from the main discussion is pretty cemented.
