I swear if not for my friends, I wouldn't have to play Platinum and endure the stupid amount of boss spammings and missile rainings. What the hell Bioware thinking when they designed Platinum and gave us 36 missiles total? The game is nothing but shooting at ton of moving bullet sponges and raining down missiles at the spawn. That why I prefer Gold If I want to have fun.

Platinum trivialized so many kits, weapons and builds. And people play it mainly for credits.

Play PuGs, they never use their missiles.

All my plat runs are solo-queue PuGs and unless I end up as the token random in a premade of friends, they never use their missiles.

Some classes really shine for Plat PuGs if you want to play without missiles, Justicar for instance.

You can add me on Origin: GeistHeller if you want another player who only uses missiles for tight spots.

On average, Plat games last for around 23-27 minutes for me with "average" PuGs, if there is a single other decent player, it goes down to 20 and I do not believe I'm Spectres material.

Gold is definitely more fun. Clasess can be played the way they were meant to be played. I do enjoy uup though

Yea Platinum is lame to me. I've had the majority of my fun playing Gold although I'll occasionally do Plat with friends.

That's why I like U/U/G too...

But there's times that you and your friends are just too efficient, literally everything dies too fast .___. so it's nice to have plat there.

I play platinum for fun since gold is just too easy. I certainly don't feel any class/build is truly trivialized either. Melee, guns, pure power builds...I don't seem to have any horrible problems making them work. Some people just don't like platinum and/or aren't suited for it, but that's why there's bronze, silver, and gold difficulty. You can choose a difficulty that you'll enjoy.

Simple solution, don't like platinum? Don't play it. I don't like bronze, silver, or gold so I simply don't play them.

I like to use the talon merc without spamming those damn Cain mines. So I need strength enhancer because lately I'm never host and usually never hit them with all 5 arrows. Maybe a cyclonic mod.... Maybe.

I'm not a big fan of Plat myself but it can be fun if you pick a map/enemy IME. U/U can be quite trolly (e.g. Geth/Condor, Rio or Dagger Hazard), and admittedly those aren't as fun as Gold IMO so I can see where you're coming from.

I have a lot of fun pugging gold on pretty much any kit, as long as the host isn't on the direct opposite side of the globe. There's always plenty to shoot, and any kit can shine with the right consumables!

edit - I'm happy with the credits per extraction on gold, but a slight bump to make it an even psp per extraction would be cool. An "all-faction" gold setting would be good for extra difficulty without stupid boss spam.

ah, forgot bout the talmerc. yea strength enhancers are a must with him if your using arrows...its what he does best.
