The only way i'd find it tolerable for Liara's daughter to appear in a future installment is if the child only turned out to have Shep as a father if Shep was romanced in ME3, otherwise it is some random other character.

IF and I stress if they are considering putting in Liara's child to the game I think what they really need to do is have a few optional characters for people to play. That could be more difficult tho as it might require more VA's. At least tho, it doesn't discount anyone. Those who want Liara's kid could have Liara's kid and those who don't dont have to.

The only real issue i have with that is it would need to be set like 90 years? Or so in to the future.. isn't that how long it is before an Asari kid is actually old enough to go out on its own per say? I would prefer the next game to be set in a closer time line then that.

On Ilium there's a 60 year old Asari who mentions she's just left home.  And I think liara says she's spend 50 years on dig sites

This is a good question, do Asari grow slower than humans as well as age, or are they just treated as children for longer? Is it the same for Krogan?

May be I should also add if shep didn't romance liara. it could be that the child has a mystery father hehe.. adds more controversy or intrigue

This isn't necessary.

Liara is already the canon romance. No need to confirm what everyone already knows.

Ummm, I do. Each and every Shepard is different, and my Shepard never harbored any romantic feelings for Liara. That title goes to Miranda.

Of course they are. Therefore, in a "blank" Shepard state, there is no ground to estabilish if he/she did or did not give Liara their permission.  That's what i meant.

So "rape" is not automatically implied, unlike some elements in this thread so viciously defended.

Liara 'raping' Shepard and knocking herself up is just nonsense headcanon. Why anyone would choose to think that is completely beyond me.

hell no.

Liara stealing my She's dna to make blue babies? NO ABORT ABORT. He would come back from the dead and kick her in the stomach.

Just...no.

Now her having a kid that's Shep's if romanced or Feron if she didn't would be nice.

My Shepard already has a baby. His name is Urz and he likes his belly scratched when Mama Shepard visits him on Tuchanka.

Really, though, just no. Because I'm a hater and I dislike Liara.

Oh God no. Even mentioning Liara by name in any future installment is going too far.

Why Liaras kid? IMO the best time for the next Mass Effect would take place 50-10 years after the Reaper war. That's enough time to kill off everybody but Liara and Grunt, who still have many years left to live.

And since it will be next generation, importing isn't likely so Grunt will always be alive.

War Grunt!! I'd buy the next Mass Effect if Grunt is companion.

If they ever make a sequel, I guess low-EMS destroy and refuse will be non-canon (like Shepard dying in ME2).
