The only real issue i have with that is it would need to be set like 90 years? Or so in to the future.. isn't that how long it is before an Asari kid is actually old enough to go out on its own per say? I would prefer the next game to be set in a closer time line then that.

On Ilium there's a 60 year old Asari who mentions she's just left home. And I think liara says she's spend 50 years on dig sites

This is a good question, do Asari grow slower than humans as well as age, or are they just treated as children for longer? Is it the same for Krogan?

Liara is already the canon romance. No need to confirm what everyone already knows.

Ummm, I do. Each and every Shepard is different, and my Shepard never harbored any romantic feelings for Liara. That title goes to Miranda.
Of course they are. Therefore, in a "blank" Shepard state, there is no ground to estabilish if he/she did or did not give Liara their permission. That's what i meant.
So "rape" is not automatically implied, unlike some elements in this thread so viciously defended.

Liara stealing my She's dna to make blue babies? NO ABORT ABORT. He would come back from the dead and kick her in the stomach.
Just...no.
Now her having a kid that's Shep's if romanced or Feron if she didn't would be nice.

Really, though, just no. Because I'm a hater and I dislike Liara.

And since it will be next generation, importing isn't likely so Grunt will always be alive.
War Grunt!! I'd buy the next Mass Effect if Grunt is companion.

What if Liara died?
If they ever make a sequel, I guess low-EMS destroy and refuse will be non-canon (like Shepard dying in ME2).
