Is there any reference to time travel in BI or in previous Bioshock titles? I mean, for a game like Timeshift it'd make sense, but does it make sense for this game?
You shoot bees from your hands. Time travel hardly crosses the line of ridiculous in that universe.
That's not my point. I simply don't want time travel being used as a DEM for the ending.

Nah. Nowadays "good endings" are considered too pedestrian. So they go for arbitrary twists and overly elaborate reveals, in an attempt to be "artistic"
Sadly this seems to be the jist of it. It's as if they all suddenly think having a 'hero survives' ending is too cliche and a 'hero dies' ending equally so, so they'll just go for some vague (often plothole ridden) ending, call it artistic, then act as if it's great and they did a good job.
I fear for DA3's ending already.

Oh, I forgot to mention there's also a bad ending. And it's really, really, really bad.

I've seen the ending on a live stream, it's just like what was written. It's real, also funny what you are writing because this was the same response people had when the endings of ME3 where leak and peopel kept sayiung they where fake and peopel hwo beleived them where being trolled and it's not real and such.Link Ashland 614 wrote...
So that guy posts it and it's obviously legit because everything on the internet is true because some guy says so. Wow.
How about you wait for the game?

Pretty much, I would add even Deus Ex. It´s difference when you build whole narrative on some theme and ending is nothing more then highlight of whole narrative instead of attempt to be "special" and "inovative" or "thoughtful", you can be one of those as far as you follow your narrative. That´s why The Walking Dead from Telltale is so great even if ending is dark.

If you mean Dishonored's "bad" ending, its pretty good.
or rather, I think the right word is "Fitting".
Whether good or bad endings, Dishonored was a pretty good game.
Storywise ... you will have your suspension of disbelief stretched at times, assuming that you already can accept Dishonored's rather mystical origins, but does not quite break that suspension as ME3's ending did.

Oh I don't even mind if there are really, really bad endings, as long as there's at least one ending that is actually good and I can choose that one.
I wonder though.... is this really, really, really bad ending bad as in.... everyone dies bad or just mass effect 3 bad as in crappy writing?

I hated Dishonored. It punished me for being an Assassin by rewarding me with a terrible ending. "Here's a knife, but don't kill anyone with it! Instead be a care bear and knock all the bad guys out, if you don't then screw you!"

Then don't kill everyone that moves. If you wanted a game where you can just kill everything and expect nothing bad to happen from it, this game is not for you. If you want low chaos, kill when you have to, use your powers, use stealth and use the level to your advanatge. Also doing non lethal options ont he main targets is much better then just killing them imo.Eterna5 wrote...

Bad endings are the product of bad writing. They're not some elaborate conspiracy to nickel and dime gamers. Conspiracy theorists often times give people way too much credit.
Unless ofcourse, the ending is a cliffhanger since the intent is to give people incentive to buy the sequel.
