Last night.  The Unknown/Unknown/Platinum Kodiak Shuttle brought us to FB:Jade/Collectors/Platinum.  Fine, bring it.

It was a PuG, however, while we didn't have any weapons/powers synergy, there was communication and everyone supported each other. 

Wave 11, with a little less than a minute to go, I get disconnected from the match.  So, I'm out level III/IV consumables, Medi-Gel, Ops Packs, AND Credits. <_<

"You have lost connection to Mass Effect 3 Servers... [OK]"  Why isn't there a "Not OK" button?

Wow, that sucks. but from a software point of view they can do nothing constructive at that time. I would imagine that programmers wanted to put a message in there like "damn, don't think I can help you with that", but got overruled by supervisors.

It has happened to me on a few occasions - you just have to play another match to get the bad feeling out of your system.

This morning I had 0:00 left on the countdown clock when I lost connection to the game. No kidding, and no exaggeration. I lost all my consumables and even spent an extra rocket at the last few seconds just for the joy of it because of the good run. Last night I tried to find a match for 30 minutes. I lost my connection multiple times, got into two matches with invisible enemies and got stuck in a loading-loop (and finally when I alt+tabbed I saw that Origin had encountered a serious error). Sigh. Not my week, this is.

So I feel you. It definitely is Not OK.

Happened to me on gold once, Wave 11 - 10 seconds left to pickup, already on landing spot and BAM!!... You have lost connection to Mass Effect 3 Servers... I was like: FFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!! 80000 creds GONE!!! My dinner's cold and I wasted time just to see that?!!!

Surprisingly it hasn't happened to me while in a game...I get disconnected either in lobbies or in the multi-player menu :s

Wait till you have to quarrel with your spouse during midgame to get 10 more minutes to finish and then "it" happens.

This same thing has happened to me 4 times tonight alone on gold... 4 times.

It used to happen a lot for me too for a while, until I deleted all the port forwarding details in the router and reapplied them. Haven't had a disconnect since (apart from the odd occasion when all of origin goes down)

OMFG! It's not just me!! I was ready to put some poor Verizon FIOS rep in a choke hold! So glad to know it is an EA issue and not the Verizon Chamber of Evil.

But the disconnects still reek though.

Me too. Two Gold matches in a row, doing really well, got to wave 8 then boom... "You have lost connection etc. etc. etc." All credits and equipment gone. So mad I could spit.

What's unfair and inept is that when the connection is 'lost' we simultaneously lose all the points, experience, credits and consumables related to that mission. What should happen during game cleanup is that the servers should allocate your results up to the last successful wave. As it is players get doubly penalized, gaining nothing and losing both time and consumables and what's not so obvious is the lose of enjoyment, morale and motivation (esp if you're leading and doing so well or just playing with an entertaining fun bunch). I doubt this will be fixed now as the out-of-touch political types have likely pulled all ME3 developers away from being able to improve the experience.

My worst was 13 secs from a Plat extraction. I've also had another (Gold) go 16 secs from extraction. On one mission I've even been able to hear people continuously play the game for up to another minute on their (permanently on) microphones whilst mine just shows the spinner and everyone walking off the map, which is just plain silly.

That is right, but what progammers COULD do is to program it in a way that if you are dropped from a game because of disconnect at least keep the consumables. As it is kept when a host leaves and the rest are migrated to another host.

Guess this won't be fixed but, programming-wise:
IF 'server disconnect' THEN consumables lost=NO
But maybe people would cheat: if bad game then pull the plug on the internet connection.

Bonus points if it was solo. Had it once, one of the most infuriating experiences in MP.

Btw, we had a nice game on hazard Ghost platinum, OP. You were excellent.

I have had this happen on solo gold and platinum a number of times. It can definitely be frustrating.

I've had these so much lately, it's insane! 4 gold games in a row, DISCONNECTED.
It's been impossible to play a full match for the past few days.



...so could the problem really be with my router? too bad i have no idea what to do with it.
