First gold solo attempt yesterday, after completing the wave 10 objective I got disconnected. Although it wasn't Origin this time but my own internet connection that crashed.

so many people blaming EA for their own issues when it clearly must be a problem on your end, try calling your ISP if that doesn't do it buy a new router and if that still doesn't do it buy a new computer/Xbox/PS3

Had this thing a couple of times. Also, there were these weird occasions, when I finished the match, appeared in the lobby, credits - check, experience - check, left the group and "BAM!!" system pretends like nothing happened.

Most of my disconnects are not due to my own connection but because of the EA server (I always check afterwards if my internet still works). And everytime I try to start my game I get at least two Origin troll shutdowns. Then numerous Disconnects during wave 9/10/11, sometimes followed by Origin trolling. Yeah, that must totally be my fault, how could EA's sh*tty servers and software possibly have anything to do with that ... <_<

EA only uses top of the line servers and have the best IT staff around, stop trying to pass blame

Lost to connection to the EA server but typically I'm online and can access youtube/netflix.. so its not 'on my end'

this is everytime I lost connection but ONCE when my router get modem got disconnected.

the xbox isnt losing internet connection, only the ea servers. live stays connected, hell im still talking to my party through it.. and to top it off if im the primary scorer it also robs all three of the other people of every point of xp i had earned in the process, sometimes cutting the overall xp gain in half. its sad and happensa t least once every 2-3 days depending on how many matches i do. call it once every dozen or so matches. most recent a silver on 40 sec to extraction, running a vorcha, instantly lost the creds, and the 220k xp everyone had earned instantly dropped to 115k

id like a final patch that fixed that somehow, whether thats real time awards (like teh achievement and challenges, those update in real time even if you DC) and im really tired of my shadow not being capable of SS an atlas. just sayin those would be some nice final patchings.

That sounds like typical EA drone bullsh*t. Troll somewhere else.

If you often get this problem on PC I'd suggest checking if your internet connection status is being falsely reported as "local only" when it happens. Vista--possibly 7 as well--seems to have an issue with the list service reporting your internet as local only even when it's functioning properly. Once I discovered that, I disabled the Network List Service--it's just a notification service--and I have not disconnected since except when the servers are actually down. I used to disconnect from about 70% of my games. Origin seems to use the List Service as the first check on whether you can connect to their servers, which means you're booted the moment local only pops up. No list service = Bypass that check.

Wow. Just WOW.

Just a few moments ago, a wave 7 disconnect.

I CARRIED a team through 7 WAVES of Platinum. And *I* was host.

And I got disconnected from MY OWN DAMN GAME.

I never lost internet connection. Not my local router. Not my LAN. I had an actual continuous ping (to www.google.com) going without ANY packet loss.

EA servers can suck my nuts.

I have the cash and a full manifest, but that's NOT the point. GIVE ME BACK MY CONSUMABLES.

Yes, I AM pissed!

I figured something fishy was up with the servers today, because I couldn't stay in a single game without losing connection to the server. And that's something that RARELY happens to me.
