Last weekend, they posted a message to the forums that they were not able to get it up and running in time. This implies that more operations are/were planned. I've not seen anything regarding this weekend.

The rumor is that there will be no more weekend ops, but this would seem to be counter-indicated by last week's posting by Bioware. At this point, everyone is in the dark about what is going on, because BW has been completely silent on the issue.

I believe that BW won't say anything so players will keep playing in anticipation of a weekend challenge when, in fact, there are none anymore.

I thought Lodestar was a proper send-off, but it would've been nice if there was official word.

I'd like to think they've worked out how to automate everything (and took last weekend off to make sure it worked) so that now they just keep running without interference and without announcements on the forums. I'm hoping they'll just pop up in-game each Friday evening. Even if it was as simple as "complete any one challenge (of any type of your choosing from the available set, like "140,000 with the Predator Peanut Shooter)" each week then that'd be fine.

Well the odd thing is that last week, they specifically said they were having trouble with the weekend challenge. I had took that to mean they want to continue doing them, but were running into problems (maybe with changing the packs to give URs)

I know I for one was expecting more challenges based on the available information, but there's only so long that notion holds up without them saying anything. If they don't announce the challenge soon....

I'd take new randomly generated crap ops (get x points with x weapon type, or power, etc.), or even just a retread of the previous ops. Anything would be better than nuttin.

I heard that they're at PAX East this weekend, and maybe they're waiting to make an announcement there about something, but even if so, I doubt it would be a weekend challenge.

Good thing I completed my nine weekend challenges with Lodestar, just in case.
