But no, no build up, just deception and a swift kick in the ass like we've overstayed our welcome. After a year of what can only be described as awesome support, it does bug me. It makes me wonder what's really going on behind the scenes, and if they have our loyalty or best intentions at heart.

Then they should have paid the full price for this game when it came out, not buy it after an year since its release and even attempt to complain.Aretorihc wrote...
I'm even seeing lots of new players on the 360, surely they would be interested in enjoying what we all have for a year

I doubt they do complain. They have nothing to complain about. Not sure why you're so hostile to newcomers, I appreciate the fresh blood.

Because anybody who pays less than me should get less. Otherwise I'm starting to feel bad.Aretorihc wrote...

We need thank our loved geniuses of bioware!
For his kindness. We played the MP without pay monthly, for now
They really know how to run the business
reliability, efficiency
I love EA
Actually thinking about it ME3 has run two different systems in parrallel. Perhaps it's been an experiment of sorts.
On the one side you've got the SP team producing high quality (debatebly in the case of Omega) DLC which is paid for.
Then the MP team going on the Microtransaction model, putting out free DLC, but not really supported - no bug fixes etc.
I'd prefer the high quality - fully supported, but paid for model personally. Yes the free dlc has been cool and all, but we'll never know how much better it could have been if we had to pay a few dollars for it like they've done in Borderlands 2 for example.
Some of the DLC has been quite good I think in BL2 - even if it is paid for. The trick of course is making it worth the purchase.
I always figured it had more to do with the size of the community. When You figure that most people are only playing the game on one console, if you were to add multiple paid MP DLCs each one would fragment the community into smaller and smaller groups making it harder to find a match.

Hey guys - so yes the servers and challenge systems will keep running as long as we can keep them up but there will no longer be any organized weekend events.
I hope these servers last a few years, at least.

Do us a favor and try to keep them running as long as you can. There still seems to be plenty of gamers playing this game.

As many others have said, I'd be happy just cycling though them over and over again or just participating in holiday ones (even if they too were repeated). That's not too much to ask, is it?

So! When will EA pull out of the servers? Next year? =)
If they take out the servers, the DLCs will be missing for everyone on every Platform, right? I mean, before I switched from the PC to the PS3, there were times when the servers were not working, and not only was I unable to go to MP, but the DLCs were missing as well.

I've had break ups that were handled with more integrity than a statement buried in page two of a thread started by a BSN member.

Would it be possible to at least have this as a sticky thread for a while?
Thanks in advance

so no more weekend Challenges makes the N7HQ page and Multiplayer for mass effect 3 pointless i know Bioware you and the others are working on other projects people but is their away u could keep the Challenges going or re-run the old ones due to me and others did not get all of them and all the weapons ??
- For me it never were the weekend operations that alone made the multiplayer fun to use (although I loved the weekend operations, especially the ones were we had to work together as a team)
- N7HQ of course still is useful for quite a lot of things
- The weapons are now available in the store (OK, this does not mean that you will ever get them, but at least there is a chance)

I would have thought this blog entry would have covered it.
