Almost never see one these days. Maybe after the original human one?

They're highly host dependent. Not fun off host.

It's the most powerful vanguard but also for some reason, the one that people don't know how to use, maybe that's the reason why you don't see them too often.

In my experience, most of the Slayers i've seen have as a unique objective the biotic slash spamming, sadly, a very bad strategy.

The most powerful Vanguard? Ehm, not sure how you get that...oh well, generational gap.

I see them all the time in PUGs. Most of them seem to rely on sword usage and biotic slash, though... which of course usually results in them being face down on the ground for half the match.

I never liked him, have tried different builds and playstyles but could never get a good rhythm with this class. I hear he's decent but I have never seen a well played slayer. His melee doesn't track well enough to my liking and is underpowered compared to other classes who can melee much better and more effectively.

I almost never see vanguards in general. When I see him, it's all about the slash spam, so I'd rather not in PUGs. Highly host-dependent as well, and since quicksearch never gives me U/U, I tend to host my own lobbies or play with friends. No reliable sense of stuff that gets kinda wonky off-host as far as PUGs go.

After the last buff I saw a lot of pugs playing him, only using BS sometimes. Probably not used more because he's not fun to play off host.

I rarely run into a lot of vanguards now I think about it.

I'd certainly play the slayer more if I hosted more.

Very powerful kit. Probably my favorite Vanguard...On PS3 I see them once every 5 matches or so.

Everyone knows he's just a nerfed version of the shadow.

Phase Disruptor got a huge buff presumably because the character wasn't very popular going by stats Bioware must have, but surely the only reason it wasn't popular is because it's affected by lag more than any other character.

BWAHAHAHA my slayer will eat your little Pyjak shadow Posted Image

Also, its host dependency that makes them rare. The good ones phase disrupt and that is only good while hosting.

To be fair you don't see a lot of vanguards period, especially if they aren't hosting. It's one of the most popular vanguards according to a poll earlier this year. It's personally my favorite vanguard as well.

Great melee class but a great nuking class as well with charge-pd spam.

I measure that with damage output capacity and survivability.

Accidentally ran a Slayer (with a DISCIPLE) against Gold Geth in a game that Crimson Vanguard was hosting.

Not fun. At all.

I see them more than any other, and they're all bad.

Never seen anyone play him effectively, even when they were hosting. 98.7% of them are BS spammers.

If anyone on Xbox plays a kickass Slayer let me know.

Slayer is probably my favorite, but hosting is a pain, because it takes so long to fill a lobby, while quick match always nets me a lobby after a few seconds pass.

Love my Slayer, never get to play him.

I play a mean Slayer. Need to be host though.

I use the slayer quite often. I'm proud to say I never use slash though..it looks cool, but I just have no use for it.
