Mass Effect always leaves me wanting more!

As long as the servers keep running, I'll probably keep playing. To me, ME3MP is my virtual shooting range. It's nice to hop on, shoot something to bits n' pieces, have some fun. I get to do it all from the comfort of my own home (no need to find a babysitter!), plus it doesn't cost me a dime to get ME3 started up. Knowing this community, I'm sure there are people who will think of something fun for the MPers to do— some already have, and I can't wait to see them brought to fruition.

So, thanks for a great year of MP, BioWare! We'll take it from here.

I think this text was supposed to be a quick fix of ME3's ending before Extended Cut DLCcame out  . Just if player didn't know "what he saw". That's why devs were surprised about conspiracy/indoctrination theories... "Are they illiterate or something"?

Exactly - I really had no worry about the servers being shut down but reading this makes me wonder. The servers are still up for many other games released years ago, and many of them don't seem to have the enthusiastic player base that this game still has. Am I wrong to think that the servers could be up for a few years still? Not that I won't be tired of the game by then, but you never know...

I dunno. Call me an optimist but I think they're finished with new content and balance changes, not necessarily ending the game. Still, it's most likely only a matter of time until they turn off the lights.

I don't understand you guys, this is a game, we play it for fun -I play it for fun for sure. Challenges were not challenging on the first place. Lack of any further strong support were already clear after the last DLC. So what is the deal?

as long as we keep playing..and buying from the store... im pretty sure the game will keep going until its nearing the next installment.

That's cool, but I've never paid out any real money at the RNG store, I've purchased all the DLC however. I don't think many players do part with their real, hard earned cash, so if that's what it takes to keep ME3 MP alive then it's all over!

Really, I don't think you should read too much into the statement.  I'm fairly certain the servers will be on until the next installment.  Even if no one buys anything from the store, the multiplayer is the best way to keep the player base interested in mass effect so that people will buy ME4.   This is how it is for every game.

I think he should re-word that becase 90% of people on here (the lucky 10% have enough sense to realize) would assume there will be more challenges, regardless if they've missed other posts saying there won't be. :happy:

Well, I didn't think mp would last more than a year. So until EA maintain their servers, I'm fine. Or and balance changes would be nice.

You know, even if BioWare moves on (totally understandable), I still enjoy — after a full year of doing it — logging in and knocking off a few baddies while talking with friends. Good social event. Still is, always will be.
