Assuming that Bioware wants to continue releasing DLC, which they might not after the trauma, stress and aggro over RTO, what would you like to see next?
I'd quite like to see a new Dwarven city open up.
Or some upgrades for the player camp, or some item packs.
Your thoughts?
DLC after RTO...

Kal Sharok, the old Dwarven capitol is the only other city inhabited by Dwarves, and it is thousands of miles away apparantly so we won't be seeing that any time soon.

mmmh, would love to see more new areas instead off more items. or new big epic quests in areas we visited.

I would want something episodic. Some larger chain-quest that would continue piece by piece, so that even though a single episode of the DLC-series might only last a couple of hours, the overall lenght of all the episodes added together would make the adventure as a whole much longer. This would help make the stories in the DLC adventures more subsistancial, and possible cliffhangers inbetween the episodes would make the wait for new content even more intense!

I meant desirable items, say for example:
Duncan's Armour
(New Waraxe)
(New Mage Robes)
(4 New Shields)
(New Staff)
(Gold)
Released for something like 40-80 points.

what I'd not like would be simple "item packs" - some items on top of a story driven DLC, that's fine.
however, since Awakening will be out in just two months, i'm not sure if we see any DLC besides RtO before then, but maybe they'll surprise us. A "bridgeing" DLC, that hints at some story elements of Awakening, and maybe introduces us with one of the new companions, or a major npc, that would be great.

I feel there should have been more cities/towns to explore. I'd particuarly like to see some stuff like -
'Liberation of Kal-Sharok'
'Reclaiming Lothering'
'Restore Haven'

Val Royeaux would be fantastic, but I doubt they'll give access to Orlais.

Some kind of challenge survival mode, so once you've completed the game you can go to a special area with the party of your choice and survive an onslaught, getting stronger wave by wave - linked to this site for high scores,

Id like to learn more about Bodahn and Sandal's past and also more about Wilhelm's past and how he actually acquired shale.

Now, Val Royeaux would be quite off the charts for a simple DLC, given that it's the capital city of an empire...
Also, it's completely off the map of Ferelden. It's probably better kept for an expansion, or even a sequel.

Lets wait and see. they failed miserably with this DLC when you take a look at the mood around the forum. Debacle followed debacle, broken promise followed broken promise... So right now they have a big piece of work ahead of them to regain the trust of many players. There is quite a chance that DLC won't be cost-effective for them in the future as many have lost interest or trust.
That's just an economic point of view and no complaint or what so ever. I can keep waiting, I ain't going to whine just because RtO isn't released. I am more amused about what happened so far than RtO is probably ever going to do - and there is the next problem. The longer people are waiting the higher the expectations will be, just to justify to oneself why you are spending so much time waiting for it... so I have my doubts that ~1 hour of gameplay will be able to make such a big impression.
Anyhow I hope there will be more DLC (or at least that RtO will be released

DLC and RTO will be mine most hated letters. And you happen to have both in this thread.

orlais wont come out as a dlc i think
its more possible that they expand the next dragon age: ??? (2) to whole thedas or maybe orlais only then dragon age: ??? (3) whole thedas or so ... but orlais is too big (almost bigger than ferelden) to add it in a single small DLC

Speaking of Orlais, do we know where Awakening is going to take place? I wonder whether it'll still be in Ferelden, or if it will branch out.
I wouldn't mind a DLC that further explores the Brecilian forest. It's obvious that there are alot of elven ruins there, and it would be nifty to start rediscovering the ancient cities of the elves.

I get the feeling that all the DLC and expansion content we are going to get for DA:O will be Ferelden-centric. I guess it might be in the realm of possibility for a larger expansion pack to take place in some other, smaller country - say the Free Marches for example - but I'd say that would have to be somehow justified in the storyline, and thus far there don't seem to be any plot threads in the storyline of Origins that would lead the events over the borders of Ferelden. I think Origins is all about Ferelden, leave the rest of the world for sequels!
