I'd like the Dwarf Origins return to Orzammar fleshed out in DLC. All the pieces are in place, so no 3d modelling or extra animation required. It'd be awesome if instead of becoming king or paragon in the ending blurb you could turf Harrowmont out and become king straight away, or help Bhelen to the throne and be named a Paragon. Along with, of course, an extremely hard set of optional quests with difficult combat and nigh impossible negotiate checks to become both at the same time.

I'd like this too from the perspective of "I want to be the one to lead the dwarves, not let one of these two muck it up!"  That's true for the Dwarf Commoner origin as well (although really Paragon is as far as seems reasonable to go for that case.)

If I'm King Endrin's child, and I can find convincing proof that Bhelen used Carta thugs to have the eldest rubbed out, I should be able to get him exiled and me re-instated...except for one major issue.  He obviously has a network of political contacts that I don't, and Harrowmont has his own political power base.  I might be able to take one of them on, but both?  In a non-democratic society with an "elected" King...how would I have enough votes from the Deshyrs?  About the only way would be to bring Caridin back with me (Branka's a nutjob and would cause as much rejection of me as acceptance).

I can't find the thread now, but this scenario was laid out by someone within the last two weeks including a great write-up of the speech to be given to the Assembly...but it didn't account for the lack of political base and I think that's crucial.

There are also a *lot* of doors in Orzammar (commons and Diamond Quarter) that don't currently lead anywhere.  And don't get me started on the fact that Jarvia's hideout is as big as the royal palace, assembly, and proving grounds put together (with twice as many inhabitants...)

tl;dr version:  Orzammar has more that can be done--a better way to handle the Dwarf Noble return is only one of the options.

I think the DLC lends itself most to filling in smaller character/story moments, whereas something like Kal Sharok, which I would really like to see, would be better suited to a longer expansion package.

A DLC that I would really like to see is one that adds additional character dialogue/interactions throughout the original game. I would also like to see some if the ideas that didn't make it into the game due to time/budget constraints, added back in as DLC, where possible.

I think they should have something with Jowan.. like he escapes "yet again" and either teams up with this new darkspawn leader or something of that nature.. Idk y but I like Jowan.. I guess its my love for blood magic! but yeah Oh and i'd like to see duncan come back.. in the cut scene u never actually see him die.. Cailan dies but we never actually see the axe get burried deep into duncan.. call it nieve but i still think he is alive. haha.

I would like to see new dlc every month, if that means no achievements that is even better. Achievements take away from game and I know M$ are sticklers about their achievements. BOOO!

I think a DLC should be epic..not only a short history without relation or consecuences with the rest. The thing is making that is very diffcult from devp point of view..that is why i think shale dlc is great.

I would like to see a dlc in mountains..hearing the wind like when you reach Ostagar in DaO..Of course, i i dont want a dlc to get a armor or weapon..that is ridiculous, give us history, romance,...

And if someone ask for the "avenger sword of death that gives you +40 to all attributes and can slain with a critic to any creature", ..make another DLC to this people..something titled: "take this great weapons and kill ogres with 1 hit, then bore yourself..".

More side-stories, items, dungeons etc. are what I envision as DLC, basically, more content to explore and play with. Improvements to the core game itself is really more patch material.

The top 2 DLC I would wish:

1. The trailer armor mod (for all 4 characters)... I don't need uber item, but I want armor (and tattoo) from the trailer because they look great.

2. Human barbarian/common origin... really, I don't get it why BW isn't willing to add new origins per DLC. They could cost more, but lets face it, it isn't that much they would have to add except for the origin story at the beginning. I doubt there are so many changes to middle and late game.  I doubt that there would be many syncs needed from the main characters.

...and I hope the next DLC will focus on story and have the "Stone Prisoner" length, even if they cost more.

I'd personally like a visit to Orlais. I could perhaps get some dashing gentleman's shoes there.

You know, just some quests in Val Royeaux or something. A brief visit?

Hmmm... But if I had to choose a part of Ferelden, I'd expand the Korcari Wilds. I mean, there's bound to be some other ruins with hidden valuable gear there, right? Maybe meet some Chasind?

the Ash warriors, either adding as a companion or an origin story.

or the Chasind, i mean they are barbarians who had their home taken

away by darkspawn right off the bat, at least one of them would want some revenge

Assuming that Bioware wants to continue releasing DLC, which they might not after the trauma, stress and aggro over RTO, what would you like to see next?

I'd quite like to see a new Dwarven city open up.

Or some upgrades for the player camp, or some item packs.

Your thoughts?

taking back one of the abandoned thaigs might be a cool expansion.

What about a DLC that lets you help rebuild Denerim after the attack at the end. And an area added to it like the docks. It would be something to do after you finish the game. Rebuildng Denerim could kinda be like in NWN-2 when you where the Knight Commander and you had to rebuild Crossroad Keep. Killing off the darkspawn on the roads to make them save for trading or upgrading the city guards / walls. You could do alot with this I think.

well there are some towns in the map of ferelden that we havent seen like West Hill or Jader, maybe even a few new thaigs, or dragons peak..  hell I would love to see Aoenar (the basic layout could be similar to mages tower with so many possibilities for minor sidequests.. hell you could even see Jowan there!!)

also going back to highever castle would be nice, or to explore the full wardens keep..

so many possibilities for small additions to the game that wouldnt warrant a full expansion..

also some new items for mages and light armour would be nice additions

just noticed other areas not seen on the map..  the town of gwaren south of brecilian forest.. some place called Kinloch hold north-east  of orzammar...the town of south reach east of lothering....man so many places that are worth $5 dlc's

Adding a few districts to Denerim couldn't hurt. The harbour or something.

I'd also like to see more dragons in this game.

That'd be fantastic - even better, Human Nobles should be able to find Fergus there and recruit him as a companion. Posted Image

I would want something episodic. Some larger chain-quest that would continue piece by piece, so that even though a single episode of the DLC-series might only last a couple of hours, the overall lenght of all the episodes added together would make the adventure as a whole much longer. This would help make the stories in the DLC adventures more subsistancial, and possible cliffhangers inbetween the episodes would make the wait for new content even more intense! :)

This sounds good to me!

a hidden dwarf thaig where dwarfs are fighting off darkspawn to survive. Basically sealed off dwarfs who have been trapped there for centuries and you need to clear a path for them back to Orzammar.

What we need is more cow bell... I mean challenge.

I would like to see some DLC that requires you to actually develop your character before you dive into it. All the DLC currently out can be done immediately after leaving Lothering. Some kind of High Dragon (or stronger, maybe an Ancient Dragon that survived the old hunts that are described in the codex) or strong fade demon with some stronger guardians would be a great way to do this I think.

On top of it all, requiring a strong character would give people something to work toward rather than just buying a low level/weak equipment requiring DLC, doing it and then moving on after an hour of slaughter. I really think a more in depth and challenging experience wouldn't just add to the epic feel of the battle in a DLC, but also give people more pride in their victories as well as making the strong equipment you get from DLCs feel harder earned. The end of Soldier's Peak had me laughing at how easy it was and I didn't feel like I earned the strong equipment that I got. I can understand the Shale one being easy because it's for a group member, but SP could have definitely been tougher. :?

I'd like for them to thoroughly test camera angles so that my pauldrons or weapons don't block the faces of the people I talk to in the game.

something larger....not epic, but much larger then anything we've seen yet. The darkspawn have been mostly defeated, so a lot of the deep roads would be open for exploration. I don't remember off the top of my head, but I think there was 4 or 6 dwarf cities? we found 2 of them. Lets find the rest, or at least 2 more.
