I'd like the Dwarf Origins return to Orzammar fleshed out in DLC. All the pieces are in place, so no 3d modelling or extra animation required. It'd be awesome if instead of becoming king or paragon in the ending blurb you could turf Harrowmont out and become king straight away, or help Bhelen to the throne and be named a Paragon. Along with, of course, an extremely hard set of optional quests with difficult combat and nigh impossible negotiate checks to become both at the same time.
I'd like this too from the perspective of "I want to be the one to lead the dwarves, not let one of these two muck it up!" That's true for the Dwarf Commoner origin as well (although really Paragon is as far as seems reasonable to go for that case.)
If I'm King Endrin's child, and I can find convincing proof that Bhelen used Carta thugs to have the eldest rubbed out, I should be able to get him exiled and me re-instated...except for one major issue. He obviously has a network of political contacts that I don't, and Harrowmont has his own political power base. I might be able to take one of them on, but both? In a non-democratic society with an "elected" King...how would I have enough votes from the Deshyrs? About the only way would be to bring Caridin back with me (Branka's a nutjob and would cause as much rejection of me as acceptance).
I can't find the thread now, but this scenario was laid out by someone within the last two weeks including a great write-up of the speech to be given to the Assembly...but it didn't account for the lack of political base and I think that's crucial.
There are also a *lot* of doors in Orzammar (commons and Diamond Quarter) that don't currently lead anywhere. And don't get me started on the fact that Jarvia's hideout is as big as the royal palace, assembly, and proving grounds put together (with twice as many inhabitants...)
tl;dr version: Orzammar has more that can be done--a better way to handle the Dwarf Noble return is only one of the options.
