Apart from host dependency, why do so few people use the Graal?

I disagree about the boss killing. Against Collectors it is very good. It kind of sucks against Atlases for some reason but it's pretty good against Banshees.
I haven't tried it on Collectors, but the long Atlas kill time is what sticks out in my mind the most. I assume armor is armor, but who knows with this game. The Graal/Hurricane combo is versatile and can handle pretty much any situation, it just weighs more than I'd like.

I would kill for an AR version.
Edit: It syngerizes very well with Talon. Don't need to host with it then.

Atlas thing is weird, it shreds Scions and Brutes...maybe it is the Shields? Well, nothing is perfect.

It's 'cause you know how to compensate for the lag or whatever it is. I use it on my Talon as well and sometimes I'll know where to aim and when to not to. It kind of has the same problem as the Crusader.Alijah Green wrote...
Talon is the kit too use this weapon with IMHO. Haven't missed a shot with him yet and I never host.....therefore it's not the guns fault most can't aim
Anyway, it's very different from the Geth Plasma Shotgun because its shots don't track, so you're less likely to hit something with it. Whenever I get surprised by an enemy it's kind of hard to hit them because they're too close and always moving. But even then I use it because I get tired of using the same shotguns (Claymore, Pirahna, Wraith). It's also one of the best long range shotguns.

You dont need to aim the Graal when using the Talon.Alijah Green wrote...

Charge Graal > heavy melee + realease Graal charge at same time.

Though I also dislike not having cover penetration.

Apart from host dependency? Maybe because it cant pierce cover? That's a slight annoyance. Pretty great weapon all round but there are more great shotguns than any other weapon type so it has stiffer competition.
^That. I like my shotguns to be able to pierce, especially if I have a wallhack on.

I was off-host BTW. Doesn't bother me, and I only use it on kits with a power capable of knocking Guardian shields to the side, so that isn't an issue either.
