Okay, so I've done numerous playthroughs of DAO on various difficulty levels, and I have a question regarding a piece of armor I just can't seem to find: The helm called "Duty" that is a companion piece to the "Effort" set of armor.

When you "look" at the armor when it's in your inventory, it says that to achieve the full benifit of the set it must be worn with a helmet called "Duty". I haven't found the helmet anywhere. Does anyone have a direction they could point me on this? Is it a bug in the game (I'm playing on a PC)? What am I missing?

Take Dog to the Deep Roads, and ask him "Do you see anything interesting?". (IIRC, this works in any of the Deep Roads areas, and it will always be the first thing he'll bring back.)

I knew it had to be something along those lines. I'm usually done taking the dog with me long before I get to Orzamar. Thank you very much!

Go to dragonage-nexus and get the extra dog slot mod.

That mod gives you a dog whistle, and you can use it to summon or unsummon your dog at any time (except during combat).

That way you spend a companion slot to take the dog with you.
