If a player has 2 X's on them then that means they aren't favoured by half the people in the lobby. That very reason could be because they look inexperienced (Avenger VII on Gold) or they were carried a previous match. I just carried a team of two for 42 minutes my last game so I handled that matter the best way I know how; with expletives. Sometimes people don't kick just to be mean. It's for the good of the game more often than not.

Mood dependant. Sometimes I'll join in. Sometimes, it seems mean and I'll leave. Either way, they are kicked.

Kicking isn't a big problem on PS3 from my experience, but I'll usually ready up if two people kick some poor sap for no good reason. Usually one of the kickers gets fed up and leaves, and we end up having a successful match anyways.

I have noticed this problem too.

In every single match there just has to be atleast one bad player who doesnt gel, doesnt rocket, doesnt help with objectives, doesnt use equipment ...

Similary, in every single lobby there has to be one player who wouldnt kick a player with 2 x's.

I support lobby leader having ability to kick. I made a thread about it. Someone got upset and said "great, lobby whak-a-mole". To that I say, "Good! Lobby mini game."

this. I just hate it when good players leave because they're too sensitive to press Y on someone.

I'm objective. If the kick votes are warranted, then I'll probably agree.

There was one time a friend was calling for a guy to be kicked because he didn't do so well. However, there was no indication that he was a bad pug (he used consumables and did objectives). He was probably just trying something out. For the next match, he was set to run the Geth Trooper (Acolyte/Flamer). I remarked about how his build was probably the best in the lobby and thus he shouldn't be kicked. The kicker just kept going on and on about how it was clear that the guy wasn't skilled. I left him be and he led the team in scoring.

Yep me too. I don't like kicking people really, kinda feel bad when I do, I rather just leave the lobby. The only exception would be a very low level person with common weapons and no gear on reading up for gold, I'll kick!

Today I was Puggin' some Silver games to finish off challenges and went into a few lobbies and people were kicking some newbies, really really! I stayed in one that was trying to kick a N7 100+, game had a few lil bumps, had to solo the last wave, some folk are stingy with their gels. No problem, extracted and left the lobby then joined another and yep two very experienced looking players were kicking an N730, come on now it's only Silver why do this? I left then didn't want to kick this person, I would have happily played with the newbie myself.B)

If I noticed that the person in question truly warrants a kick, and it's not my last game of the night, I'll third the kick-vote.

If I didn't see any discernible reason to kick them and 2 X's pop up next to them, then I'll ready up and we'll play the waiting game.

If I drop into a lobby and I see someone with 2 X's next to their name, I'll just leave 'cause I ain't got time to deal with that. They get kicked and I don't have to deal with e-drama, so it's a win for both of us.

I usually just leave the lobby in that situation. Not very helpful since the guy gets kicked anyway. But this way I don't feel guilty or look like an elitist DB.

I just leave... I am too passive to kick people! I've only kicked people... less than 6 times, and I felt bad for those!

And I'm too relaxed to take this game seriously... So, extract or no, I will just go have fun!

I usually leave a game I just joined rather than kick someone unless they're bringing in extremely sub-par weapons or extremely low N7 ranks(like 19). After one game though, if someone is really being carried, I'll sometimes initiate a kick. Usually it's someone who constantly dies as opposed to bad score. Sometimes people try out a new build and it just doesn't work out, but they switch class and do much better.

Unless someone gets on the mic and tells me why we are kicking someone (since I just got to the lobby and have no idea what happened last game) then no. Most of the time, the kicks I see are BS in nature. So not just no but hell no. As long as I play this game I will always support the newbies and help them out as best I can. And I will sit in your lobby not kicking until YOU give up and leave, just for funsies.

No, I'll kick if I think they deserve to be kicked. Also, the host should definitely not have the ability to kick unilaterally, it's not "their" lobby, the game just happens to be using their system.

Grab mic. Use mic. Tell why.

I don't like to kick without cause. I'm more likely to leave the lobby myself.

I don't like to kick people. Some of them surprise you, and others just need credits for better equipment.

EDIT: Also, it's my opinion that if we want ME MP to stay allve, we need to support new players. If a new player buys the game and gets kicked from every lobby he's not going to stick around very long. Help them out, for the good of the community and all. I really don't want this game to turn into an elitest hub like other older games.
