And as far as leechers go? I've never met one. It's a BSN myth (at least on PS3) IMHO
I meet plenty of over optimistic players who should be in SIlver, but I've never met anyone who just hides and hopes the rest will carry them....
Since they introduced the 2 minute kick, nor mal leeching tactic is to run into the first mob of enemies you see and try and bleed out as quickly as possible - that way you're just dead for the wave and not getting kicked.
Don't see many of them, but I've run into a few (not really surprising looking at the amount of games I've played).

well I met someone (Xbox) who slowly strafed back and forth at the LZ so he wouldnt get kicked. He did NOTHING at all. Didn't shoot his gun once. I know he was there the whole time too. Dude had the nerve to even get made when I wanted to kick him WTF. It's a good thing people don't run on OPs logic but I explained to others who joined the lobby. We got that **** outta thereChealec wrote...

And in my exerience, a low level newb is more likely to surprise you with how good they are, than a high level guy trying to kick them is going to surprise you with what a good team player they are.
In fact, usually the ones trying to do the kicking are very weak for their manifest. There are exceptions.

define "team player." if you mean doing objectives, reviving... that's a team player. If you mean they stick close to everyone else the whole time, then you're not gonna see many good players as "team players." Most more experienced players are able to handle just about any situation/enemy on their own and don't go down very often. They'll also use all of their rockets and drag the team out of revive fests. But other than that you won't see most vets for most of the game.
imo if you need your teammates to stick around the entire match, you are playing above your head (which is fine, with friends).

Gotta be honest, I'm not sure what most of what you said had to do with what you quoted, or what kind of player I am...
I have very little concern in me for how other people play. When I PuG, I work with players who work with me, and work independently of players who choose to go off on their own.
I don't really care about what anyone does, except when it comes to revives, objectives, and making an actual effort to be helpful.
If someone wants to spawn nuke, I don't mind. Game goes faster.
If someone wants to set up defensive positions, I'm good for covering flanks and playing defensively.
I pretty much adapt to whatever I need to do to successfully extract. There are very few playstyles out there I'm unable to complement with my own.
In my experience, that is no easier or harder based on the usual benchmarks people place to measure skill. If anything, I find some of the conventional wisdom wrong (Lone Wolf banner wearing players are typically good team players, in my experience. The vast majority of players I've seen with BotB are actually very good, knowledgable players.)
The one commonality I have seen that I will stand by, is that players who are quick to kick someone for the slightest reason in a PuG (note: I'm not talking about clearing room for friends, which isn't a PuG, and can easily be done without kicking, anyway) are, themselves, typically, weak players. I've seen evidence of this over and over again. They are not good at adapting, and they lack confidence in themselves to carry if they need to.
If they weren't weak players, they'd have the confidence to play with random players. I'm not a great player, but I'm confident enough in my abilities that I don't need to kick other people because I'm worried they won't be good enough. If they turn out not to be, I'll play harder. Most of the time, players play fine, even if they are new. As long as it's not Collectors, I have a 95% or more extraction rate in Gold PuGs.
I don't need to kick. And I have a better chance of extracting with players who have the confidence in themselves that they don't need to kick, either.

Or they refused to play as part of the team.
Or they've readied up without equipping stuffs. I find those that do are more ready to use rockets/gels when needed.
But I'm normally running with aleast 2 other friends so this is hardly an issue.
Also leechers, they get kicked as soon as we get back to the lobby. If I happen to be puggin and we get a leecher, and then the group won't kick? Well then I just set to bronze. Leechers tend to leave at that point and I get to set it back after.

Also, if Player A is being kicked in the lobby, I like to kick Player B or Player C instead, to make it look like Player A is kicking Player B or C back. Using this method I have more than once succeeded in getting 2 PUGs who are kicking each other both kicked from the game. Good times.

Kicking for bad behavior is necessary sometimes. Kicking because a PUG is new? It's better to give people a chance.

preach it brother! ever since you were stroked on some previous topic, you are surely a beacon for this depraved bsn community.
this is obviously black and white right? never kick, all pugs just need a little help to achieve greatness. and they all want help. and they're all willing to listen. all you have to do is encourage them. give them the confidence they need to succeed!
keep riding your high horse my friend.
