[Massa FX]

I'm an Xbox360 player, and this week purchased the PC version to try my hand at modifying/tweaking/playing around with tools on PC. (only $9.99 at Origin store)

I have to admit, the mods and tools out there are lovely... but more complex than you'd think. I'm not sure I'm getting the steps right. They seem extensive.

for instance textmod:
download
backup original files
copy/paste
rename this exe for that exe
run app
open file
rename exe for the original exe
add package
run.

rinse & repeat for next package. and the next.

Very time intensive

The newest Gibbed/save editor (took me some time to figure out that RAW editing file to tweak Shepard)
Ok, very nice GUI. Easy to do general tweaks and add headmorphs.

But so lacking in scope.

I was hoping to swap out a body from of Liara, Jack or Traynor with my Shepard. Can't seem to do that.
I was hoping to not corrupt my saved game as I tweaked. Sorry, that happens ... a lot.
I was hoping for an included help file, or better yet, mouse-over text descriptions in the RAW file. Wasn't there.
I was hoping that I wouldn't need to go into the game bald and need to quick save->quick load to see changes.

Please don't be upset with me because I was expecting more given the amount of time the game's been out. But, some of the tools feel really limited.

Just so you know... I never got that damn Ashley hair to work for me. But settled with the sexy hair which makes more sense for a military female.

I also found out all those fabulous femsheps in the ME face database look nothing like their pics when you get up close in game. Either the creators are not putting all their creation details and files out, or I'm totally screwing up.
