I can't find any motivation to play Mass Effect 1, I want to start over again.
But... that Mako and all that side quest is horifying and the game play is just so different,
Help me motivate myself.

Can i skip all those side quests and finish it, after i finish the game? What side quests will be gone if I continue with the story?

Once you go to Ilos, you cannot go back and complete any sidequests.

Ilos is the point of no return. Once you start Ilos, you cannot complete any more missions since you have no opportunity to go do any more missions. From Ilos, it is a straight run until the end of the game at which point the game ends and you cannot go do any more missions.

If you want to do any sidequests, you must complete them before landing on Ilos. Some sidequests are best done before whichever you complete last among Feros, Noveria, or Virmire, since some of those side missions require you to go back to the Citadel and talk to someone to complete the mission; you cannot go back to the Citadel after Anderson helps you off the Citadel to go to Ilos.

I agree, Mass Effect 1 can be a real grind to play through if you prefer the faster-paced combat in Mass Effect 2 and 3. Or rather, Mass Effect 1 can be a real slog as you grind XP by grinding tedious Secondary Missions while ignoring the much better-paced Primary Missions.

Oh, I thought it was the same with ME2 where you can roam around after finishing the game.
So, If i finish all the three main starting missions, and left out Virmire, I can still do all the sidequests right?

any missions that involve going back to the citadel after a certain point are failed, after this you can do any side quests until you land on ilos

why even bother to play the game if you "can't be bothered to do everything" , you either do something for fun , or go read a book instead or play with a rubik's cube.

I have my own reasons why I need to replay ME1, and i can't find any save files that match what I want. So... yeah.

I was loathing the Mako as well leading into my revisit to ME1, but I found I enjoyed it much more this time. I guess part of the reason is that I have a much better PC than I did in 2008, I remember the game being quite choppy on medium, now it's silky smooth with everything maxxed out. But what did it for me was the bizarre alien environments you find yourself in, not so much the auto-terrain, but looking up at a red super giant in the sky across the horizon of the hell-planet your are on is pretty cool and the later games are weaker for not having more EVA environments.
