Lightning from FF13
Weapon Omega Weapon (Lightnings ultimate weapon) basicly a AR and changes all Melee's to it's Sword form slashes

edit: i even thought of powers 

Powers:
Commando - increases Damage and Melee damage for a limited time
Ravager - Shoots a combind Incinerate, Cyro blast, Warp and Overload (Fire, Ice, Water and Thunder) can be upgraded to effect melee damage instead
Medic - Can heal you and team members by a Curtain amount

But my FAVORITE, would have to be Corvo Attano with his folding sword,
His powers could be:blink,teleport a short distance,and wherever your pointing.with a fast recharge,devouring swarm,summon a small army of rats that attack and tear a single enemy to shreds, and distracts armored targets, and the tripwire mines as a grenade based trap, like cains, made of razor wire. His melle would do ridiculous amounts of damage from behind.

For the weapon, I think I would have to add a laser minigun from the Fallout universe, if only for the cool factor.
