Totally my second pick. Especially because I started the whole "celebrating the birthday every 5 pages" meme (kept missing the right page later on, though...  it moved too fast.)

But I just can't compare anything to that Textplosion thread. People were literally waiting on the edge of their seat for updates on what was happening. I've never seen anything like that in a Forum, anywhere.

Plus, I was called "adorable" and "honourable" in that thread.

Oh god yes. I think my fave was the one about the Typhoon which turned into an argument about the Typhoon versus the PPR which turned into Upinya Slayin accusing Feneckus of hacking because he's a PC player.

Turned into a funny flame war, and was how I met Twinkles and Dragonracer.

I defended the OP in this one, as it turned into an epic BSN flame war. I abandoned ship when I began to realize who I was defending, and changed my mind.

This is truly one of my favourites, ever. It was (I believe, but I never asked Redjohn) a direct response to the epic flamewar that was the English in PuGs thread. :happy:

I have problems copying and pasting the links as I keep laughing all the time :D:D

Couple of things:

First, since people seem not to be able to vote just one thread (and I do understand them), everyone will be able to vote for more than one thread. Every time a thread gets named, it gets a vote. Cap to 1 vote per person for the same thread, obviously.


Also, I am not going to add to the "competition" threads which are not strictly MP related. Sorry. You can make a similar thread in the other sub.forums if you so wish

 Most of the girl threads have ended up hilarious, though this one was particularly epic.  

And I genuinely don't remember if it was more funny or more sad, but there was a huge rape thread many, many months ago, where the OP wrote an essay about why that word shouldn't be used so much by gamers on forums.  I haven't been able to find it though, it may have ended up completely deleted.
