Not surprising really. Most of these must be "ME3 is a great place to start" kinda ppl. 64% haven't met Wrex pretty much shows this.

Also
- 64% didn't see wrex.
- 36% made peace.

Both needs an import right? 36 + 64 = 100%

What PSUhammer said.

When ME2 data was revealed, it also had a 80% manshep, 20% femshep breakdown...and soldier was the most popular class to such an extent that it was more popular than all other classes COMBINED (>50%)

It's interesting to see how low insanity is completed though...reading through BSN, you think everyone and their dog was playing insanity, but only 4% did an insanity run...

I might be guilty... given I play insnaity but mod my savegame right before the beam so I can start a new game without going through the ending :P

Wouldn't someone who started with ME2 get Wreav too? You could get that comic thing, but IIRC only the PS3 guys got that for free.

Correct.

If you didn't play ME1, you automatically got new council and wrex is dead for yuor ME2 playthrough...

What's that "Survival Rate"? Last I checked the only squaddie who can die in ME3 is Tali.

Tali can die in ME3. During the Quarrian Geth war. If you side with Legion and don't have a high enough paragon score to call off the migrant fleet Tali will kill herself

The real shocker for me is that 37.6% of players got Readiness to 100%. Looks like people liked MP.

Edit: no, the Liara and Tali survival rates are more shocking. Did a lot of people play low-EMS games and get Liara killed on the beam run? Pick the geth over the quarians at Rannoch?

The Femshep choice (18%) and Kaidan's survival rate (17%). A coincidence?

Soldier class always dominates anyway, People like to shoot pew pew.....But anyway i would have bumped the insanity % up had i had the desire to do a 2nd playthrough.... Wheres the ending stats? Wheres the stat saying how many % kicked allers out? Wheres the dlc sales % ? Its all character related which is pretty pointless.

Or there is also possibility that they haven't or lost their save positions and want to play ME3 right now. Not everyone have patience to do 10th playthrough of ME1 and ME2 and just looking on ME3 on his shelf next two weeks.

I lost my saves for all games twice because of technical problems with computer.

Not suprised at all about the Genophage and Mordin bit. I was one of those who shot Mordin and never cured the Genophage. Just too much **** from the Krogan for me to trust them. Ever.

Or ME3 is the best place to start.

In my last playthrough, I charged the living hell out of everything (Vanguard) with Femshep.
Apparently, that is rare (?)

Some of these stats don't even make sense; how can Vega have a survival rate almost 30% higher than Liara's? How did Liara apparently die almost half the time?

Also, the fact that more people sided with the geth than the quarians, almost everyone killed Kaidan, and over half of all players cured the genophage with Wreav in charge are all pretty facepalm-worthy to me.

Well the low 18% for femshep is not surprising. Not when I meet dudes, and a few women, who think that a woman should not do all the things Shepard does. A few dudes have even told me that they cannot handle a woman talking the way Shepard does, she should be just sexy and not talk, oh and make them a sandwich... In the end, true hero = male, in a lot of peoples minds. This ain't gonna change until people start to change their gendered views.

Not really suprising that they didn't add which ending was chosen the most. I'm sure the results would be a bit skewed due to how many played but never finished. Still, it would have been nice to see it.

I suppose a lot of players (including myself) simply replayed the Earth mission twice more to see all 3 endings out of curiosity, so I don't think the ending choice results would be meaningful.

Er...that doesn't make sense though...even if you dont finish the game, the breakdown of WHAT got chosen by those that did would still add up to 100%.

re: Pew-pew
Again, I'm pretty sure even in ME1, soldier was the most popular class...this may come across as a surprise to BSN, but some people simply prefer to shoot things than deal with the powers....

Hell...I think I even remember bioware stating that Warrior was the most popular class in DA:O and that game was one where mages unquestionably were more powerful...mage warden+morrigan+wynne could power through any of the combat scenarios whereas warrior warden+sten+alistair were distinctly gimped in many a battle...

Pretty naive statement there. At the end of the day the fact is that the majority of gamers are guys and if the majority of those guys prefer to play as male shep it doesn't automatically mean they're sexist. :/

Also, why do these stats disregard the existence of Javik? The compilers of these should be thrown out the airlock.

The methodology? It's simple. Many were connected to XBox Live, PS3, or Origin when they played. Every single decision they made was sent to Bioware, and Bioware got the statistics. Those who played with internet connections were counted. Those who played offline were not counted.

On the Femshep/Manshep thing- given we don't know how they collect their data, it isn't too surprising manshep is the top. For one, some people just use default Sheploo and that's the end of it. Some people have more than one Shep, but play their 'main' Shepard over and over.

I'd venture to say that most people have played both characters rather than ALL MANSHEP or ALL FEMSHEP.
