So the story goes:

 

Off Topic gets axed, so a lot of Off Topic people go to VSN, including TheBunz. TheBunz announces he is leaving but will come back as a girl. Oddumb Rose joins BSN and VSN. VSN administrators can see the account details for members, including which IP they last logged in with. As they tell it, TheBunz didn't bother to change his IP address before rejoining the site as Oddumb Rose.

 

Not that I believe any of that. I'm sure a teen-aged girl joined BSN and instantaneously began using local colloquialisms like "Pug," played Gold with a new account despite having just started the game, and plastered her picture all over a forum full of strangers because that is the much simpler and more plausible explanation.

 

Hardly surprising. Lame as hell if you ask me.

Back to the topic..... my husband and I game together, we have for 6 years now. When we were on our first date and he heard that I liked video games, he was hooked.

 

We have 2 ps4's and an xbox one for exclusives. 

 

Another thing, I met 2 really good friends on ME3 multiplayer 4 years ago in March that I still play with today and text regularly.

How'd you two meet?

 

We were both doing a volunteer project in Georgia and met there. His grandmother lived a few hours from me so he asked if he could visit around Thanksgiving and that was that. 

 

He likes Shooters and strategy games, I like RPGs and platformers, but somehow it works.

There was a Mod that had his **** together, even if he could be a little generous with his bans.  He didn't just plump for just lock or delete everything.

 

On topic:

 

Part of a newly formed gaming couple, though we live in different countries (UK & Spain).  We met playing Warframe, she has now played a few ME3MP games though no SP (of any Mass Effect) so there's a steep learning curve ahead if she stays with it.  We have met in RL and the idea is to get together for a couple of days every few weeks.

On topic: I am amazed at how many couples formed around this game and/or the BSN. It's actually something I tell about in conversations to impress people. Mass Effect is such a good game for meeting you S.O.
