Wow this thread is old. My setup with my boyfriend has changed a bit. I got my own desk and monitors now(it was getting crowded with the new consoles coming out). He has his same desk, just with two monitors instead of three.

There's an assumption that having a couple who both play the same game is a good thing. What happens if one is way better than the other; there's always some kind of power struggle in a couple's relationship and this could all lead to arguments. On the rare occasions I have played with couples, it seems to degenerate into bickering because they expect the other to help them more e.g. "Honey, I was only 6 feet away from you, why didn't you revive me!"

My boyfriend bugged me into playing this game. He is still surprised whenever I tell him to get on to play with me. But it's a lot of fun playing with him.

lol not much to tell to be honest. Met on Reach, dated for a year, long distance(wasn't bad due to gaming together)small visits here and there, moved in with him lol

There are times when my boyfriend or I do things in the game that will annoy the other but once the xbox is turned off those problems are gone too. I have found that if anything it makes the relationship better because you get to practice some teamwork.

Feels like the bare bones of a romantic film. You just need to throw in a rival (who turns out to be his sister), crisis of the internet going down (panic loss of contact) and some form of romantic gesture (him proclaiming his love by singing over the mic, whilst in the middle of combat).

Can't help but notice a trend that the male gamers on this site like to be dominated in some way.    Not me I might add, I prefer an equal to counter-balance my flaws and failings.

I've actually run into a lot of pug couples, and it's always a sweet sight to see. They're usually playing with kits that have good synergy, wearing the same/similar armour colours, playing as male/female variants, and are always seen running around together. That's got to be awesome.

 

Some more positive examples.    I guess I must have had bad luck with the couples I have ran into.

Believe it or not we already had somewhat awckward conversation where she warned me about someone wanting to sex me slow.
"LoosingYouToYou" was the reason because I said "IloveLoosingYouToYou" which she interpreted as a mating call issued to me.
