 4/4/6/6/6

Full shields, typical damage reduction and shield restore/duration Biotic Focus. For Poison Strike, ranger on rank 4 and extra blade on rank 4 for blades. Full weapon/stability/headshot bonus.

So far, this toon is pretty damn durable and mobile while ripping up with a Cerberus Harrier. Your most annoying enemy will be phantoms that go happy with the hand cannons while closing in -- I suggest you save your Blades for them because it's very easy for them to either snipe you down or sync kill you without your Blades ammunitions. After that it's Geth Prime but Geth Prime annoy everyone with stunlock, so just try to keep a cover where you won't get flanked.

So far, I'm thinking of dropping Poison Strike. It's an absolutely useless skill with no damage whatsoever, and I'm not seeing the use of the mobility that I can't substitute with just sprinting and Biotic Focus spam with some wall dodging mixed in. Poison Strike just has been very bad in my experience for me -- it also has a huge delay that has ended in quite a few phantom sync kills.

I think in the future I might go full 0/6/6/6/6. But so far, I'm enjoying the toon. With the higher shields Biotic Focus becomes much better. Slap  a CM IV on this kit and it's very durable while being mobile and having dodges unlike the other heavier toons.

Cerberus Harrier... As if using that makes the build special. My unspecced volus merc can rip things up with a Harrier. That gun is easy mode on everything.

Back on topic, my Cabal is similar, but rank 3 in PS and 5 in Blades. I typically run a Wraith, Eagle, Pirahna, Phaeston, or Punisher. Incendiary ammo synergizes extremely well with PS for FE. She's an all round slayer of all things and is best utilized in areas with lots of tall cover. Hit and run, with 5a on fitness, you can execute unprotected phantoms like a Shadow. NB are the "oh ****!" button. Good for staggering aggressive enemies then PS through them and teleport to safety. Banshees are a non threat, and in the right areas, you can take on a whole spawn alone.

I'm running a 3/6/6/5/6 melee build. I find it a lot of fun, especially against Cerberus.

Poison Strike is nice for mobility even with the dodge, but I'd only take either 3 for basic mobility or 6 just to get Double Dash, since the damage is underwhelming. It also leaves enemies rather confused as to where you are.

Yeah, I switched her to 36656 as well. Max shields, max DR, shotgun build.

Well, some classes have good enough powers, like the Phoenix and Slayer kits. Ditto for Shadow (though you want to put a piranha or something on a shadow to kill Ravagers imo and Atlas since you still can't Shadow Strike an Atlas).

But Poison Strike is this kit's offensive power, and it's just bad compared to biotic charge. My Phoenix Vanguard's charge can take off 2-3 armor bars. Poison Strike doesn't even remove 1, and it only strikes foes in a line so it can't even aoe stagger or detonate combos.

I come from a Platinum experience since it's all I play, and there NB are only really good against infantry, which isn't that plentiful tbh. So if you don't have powers that can cut down bosses efficiently, then your kit relies on weapons.

I'm just using a Harrier for the long range needs. My Harrier is only VI, but my Hurricane is only I so it's **** by comparison, and I don't even get a Blood Pack Punisher.

I'm pretty sure the Reegar would do similarly well, but I just prefer having the Harrier since this kit does not have much in long range powers. My Talon is only III, it's good but it does not melt bosses as fast as I feel I need it for Platinum PuGs (where you can't rely on teammates releasing you from sync kills or staying together to take down bosses quick before becoming overwhelmed).

Also, the Harrier is made for this class because it has 40% stability passive. Out of cover firing, I can nail down headshots with minimal recoil. Someone was kind enough to send me his power based build, but it used a Hurricane X, and I don't have a Hurricane X, let alone even a Blood Pack Punisher I as he suggested BPP X as a substitute for Hurricane.

I went more with the 4/6/6/6/4 since the biotic focus handles the survivability with enough health and shields (and the shield recharge is useless on fitness for the same reason). and I use a talon, preferably with incendiaries for lots of self booms.:D

Detonations never happen with me. I've tried pretty much every ammunition and so far I'm unimpressed with the results.

PS seems to only effect enemies near the very beginning of the strike/charge move, that could be why it isn't setting off combos for you. That's why I like the double dash, it's easier to lay on the poision that way and get combos.

It's horrible off host though, the strike seems more stubborn the charge most of the time off host which is weird because I thought it work easier then charge since you don't have to lock on to an enemy.

Would you mind posting your build in more detail please?
