 I know nothing of consoles but I heard it is the price. A decent computer is not that expensive, so that can't be the primary reason. Given that most people these days have a computer why would anyone play on X-box?

*shrug* it's probably just a matter of preference. There are some games I like to play on my PS3 just like there are some I enjoy on my PC.

For many people they think they are much less of a headache to run games on then a PC. Just pop in the game and it should work. No drivers to mess work or device settings (to any extent).

And because many PC games are poor ports of console games, they are many times proven right.

 See, I could buy a decent gaming PC or I could just buy the game for my PS3 I already have. Not to mention i'd have to become un-lazy.

One day, under better circumstances, I will make my own PC, but right now, it's just not going to happen.

Xbox lives in the tv which is in front of the comfy sofa in the lounge.

The computer lives on a rickety desk in the spare room with an office chair.

Computer might still get a game of master of Orion 2 or total war from time to time, but the living room is comfortable.

Less headaches and a four year old laptop isnt the best at running games. Plus I originally bought ME for Xbox.

but seriously.....like other dude said....i wanted to play ME where it started.
and i just never got around to buying a new pc. i havent built one in over 7 years and have no clue... and blah blah blah about cheap...xbox and ps3 still kinda cheap...and is dedicated to gaming.

if imma buy a pc...it is gonna be for 3d animating and rendering n junk....not gaming

I am really bad at playing Shooters with my mouse and keyboard. I play on consoles for the controllers.

Because kids grew up using a game controller. For shooting games, driving games, flight sims, RPGs, etc. If they could drive a car with a game controller, they probably would.
