I'm trying to do a cutscene where a guy walk 5 pacess down the hall However, whenever I set Gad to true, he appears 5 paces back from where he started, walks to the point where I had him, and then stops (so it looks like he teleports back 5 paces then walks back up)
how do I fix this?

make sure the 'Entrance GAD' in settings is set to false. It should not be true unless you want the exact behavior you just described.

and another question- how do I make them follow a slope? My creatures just walk off into mid air

add a track to your creature, then add action: "snap to walkmesh" to the new track.
