Would you re-buy DA and DA2 on PS4 if given the opportunity?

Since it currently looks like we won't have any backwards  compatibility with PS3 games and whatever small choices you made in Dragon Age and Dragon Age 2 won't transfer over to the PS4.

So if given the option would you re-buy the games so you could have all your options on the PS4.

It would (I hope) take advantage of the increased RAM, no load times and if you played the PS3 version you know they are lengthy. Also the hi res texture pack from DA2 should be no problem.

This is all speculation at this point as it is possible to be a PS3 title and no PS4 but I expect it to be cross generational game.

If EA did what Sony did with God of War in Europe ie Released GoW 1&2 HD and GoW 3 in one box set as a big PS4/720 exclusive Collection Edition. I would buy it.

For how many times I have had the exact same problem with the 4 PS3's I have had to buy since they were released has made it so I will never waste money on another sony product and that includes the PS4.

BioWare needs to find a way to transfer save data from the PS3 to the PS4 somehow. PlayStation fans will be pissed if their choices from the first two games don't have to be meaningless, but become meaningless for future games.

Only if they did something to freshen the games up. With DA2 something to address the cliffhanger ending, would be welcomed. Instead of it being left unresolved like it has.
As its being discussed elsewhere i suspect there will be some other means of having whatever choices made in past games being reflected in the new one, should it be on PS4 only. The comic from the PS3 version of ME2 for example.A Comic Maybe what you find in a PS4 version of DA3 or not as the case maybe, its still being investigated so i understand.
So the whole question about the earlier games will most likely not even apply.

Yes I would be the same. I wantto play DAO again but the loading times will annoy me too much. I get a new respect for the Dalish Elves and I wanted to play as a Dalish warden but I can't stand the loading times.

Yeah, I probably would. If they aren't too expensive, that is.

I mean, hell, I bought both ME1 and ME2 twice. (English version for me and German version so I can play with my Mum)

Pity for me I don't have a PC that runs DA too well. I play on updating but that will be next year.

Well I have absolutely no intention of buying a PS4 but this just sounds like a massive waste of money. Well not massive. But still. That could be used to feed starving Ethiopian kids or something.

Nah, the import feature really isn't that important to me in DA. There are ways around this without having to directly import a save.

I don't mind that the PS4 won't have backwards compatibility. My PS3 I have won't play any of my PS2 disc games. What really upsets me is that we might not be able to transfer our data and purchased DLC and games from the PS3 onto the PS4. If they don't fix that, then well I just won't get one. I'm still preaty content with my N64 and Wii..

Only if my copies of DA:O and DA2 somehow get stolen or destroyed and at least four years go by. Then I may pick it up if I see a Dragon Age collection for PS4 in remembrence of the good old days when I used to play dragon age all the time :wizard:.
