I don't particularly care. If I want to see naked people, I browse the internet. And the scenes where showing nakes bodies makes sense are so short that I don't think it really matters whether we see underwear or pixels.
Pixelated body parts would probably just make me laugh.
where did you get that number I have killed 10000's in DAO over the course of all my playthroughsDinoSteve wrote...
yep slaughtering 1000's of people in games is ok but nudity s not, what a world we live in.
go to a store and buy it it is cheaper then getting the hundreds of viruses out. I am not kidding when I say 100s but I like that reply. also it is kinda creepy that this came upBlackrising wrote...

Sacrifices must be made and all that...:innocent:
Fade to black is a cop out that scriptwriters resort to when they don't know to to hndle a situation properly. LIke I said, one could habdle this matter in a tasteful, subme and suggestive manner that only makes us believe that there charachters are nude without actually showing or revelling in any of it. This is part of what being "artistic" is all about, managing to pull of feats such as this while at the same time staying credible to your audience.XM-417 wrote...
The only time i've seen this done with pixels was in MGS and the end result looked silly. The format of romance scenes in DA2 was better than DAO, Just build up to it and fade to black and rejoin the PC and LI afterwards. No need for gratuitous T&A.
I'm having Fable flashbacks....When you remove a character's clothing in the equipment screen, their arms and hands should immediately move up to cover their shameful bits.

That might be an interesting idea...or they could do what they do in the first Austin Powers and have censorship using the setting.
I know this conversation about nudity has been going on for quite some time, but it would be interesting if BioWare/EA could put optional censoring in future games. No nudity does not necessarily make a good game with a good story. I mean, look at Shadows of the Damned.
But Johnson was awesome!
But I agree, a few cleverly placed camera angles and the nudity vs clothing thing would be a non-issue. A romance scene with Implied nudity (mixed with the right atmosphere) is just as effective (if not more so) than full frontal ****** 'n' arse.

I meant in games in general. Look at Mass Effect Shepard kills way more than that.

I'm all for this, as it would shelter people of the world from the inherent shame of her own naked bodies. Glad Bioware has this covered.

I have to say it's one thing the Bible referenced well, the only reason people cover themselves unnecessarily (This is emphasised by the media too) is because they are ashamed, (Which Ironically was taken to mean the opposite for sone reason.) time to let go of that fear and the ridiculous social stigma that we should be ashamed of our true naked appearance.

Yeah I suppose I should've mentioned the fact that clothes are good when practical right?
I really didn't think there'd be anyone as inept on the BSN for me to actually have to mention that, thanks for proving me wrong.
