Silly silly debate

I want high-fashion medieval underwear.

I wouldn't mind a bit of nudity, but I'm not sure if they could make that work.

It's a Mature rated game. A bit of nudity really shouldn't be such an issue.

No was much happier with the approach DA2 took,Its no cop out. No need for pixellation as the game might look like there's being a tear in the fade and we have crossed over into the lego dimension.

I don't really care about the nudity. Probably would be marginally more 'real'. However, some people might be more sensitive to it so its not worth alienating them for something that I don't really think would add much to the game.

I will never understood how people can take TW2 as an example of nudity done right.
God knows I'm not a prude, but all that game did was make me highly uncomfortable. In fact, the very first scene with Geralt and red-headed chick in bed was enough to put me off the game completly. It's still lying around, but I haven't touched it. I don't like completly pointless 'romance' scenes when they're forced on me.

It's not just TW2, though. I refuse to watch Game of Thrones for much the same reasons.

So yeah, I think Bioware should stick to what they're doing now.

Pixels are really, really stupid looking. It would be beyond bizarre to have them show up during sexytimes. I still think Bioware should just say YOLO and go back to ME1 sideboob scenes. #YOLOSWAG

All there is to say - it will be PEGI 18+ anyway, so just put full nudity in - if there are scenes in the game that call for it of course.

Why not treat us like adults and let us decide whether or not we want a fully nude, uncensored character or underwear? Pixelated censorship was funny in the Saints Row games, but would feel weird in the DA universe.

Are EA really that afraid of the wrath of Fox News and their hilariously inaccurate "journalism"? C'mon. Those chuckleheads were the same people who declared Mass Effect to be "an alien sex simulator". LOL!

If CDPR ever gets really huge I wonder if they'll care what Fox News or some Polish equivalent of that type of trashy, sensationalistic conservative "news" channel thinks about nudity in their games? Hell, Poland's got some pretty scary, tight-a**ed political parties out there so I'm sure they have that type of television programming too.

I think the original Mass Effect and Liara's scene in Mass Effect 3 (and, for some reason, ONLY Liara's scene) handled things exactly as they should be handled. No underwear. No view of anything that would up the ratings. Just short tasteful scenes that don't overstay their welcome or get creepy.

No, I don't. Tell me, is there any plot-related reason for the player to have to see Geralt hooking up with various women over the course of the game? If there is, I apologize and will concede that the scenes are not pointless. But I suspect that the sex was completly unnecessary.
And anyway, my problem is not even that they're pointless. Bioware's romance scenes are pointless as well when it comes down to it. The difference is that I can avoid them and that they don't practically push my face into a pair of boobs, screaming "LOOK! BOOBIES! THEY'RE HERE! YOUR CHARACTER IS HAVING SEX! LOOK WHAT A POTENT STUD HE IS! THE EPITOME OF MANLINESS!".
You know how some people dislike that all LIs in DA2 were available for both genders because it made them feel like their PC was a sexual Mary-Sue? That's the way I feel about TW2 and its' in-your-face sex scenes.
As for Game of Thrones: Well, excuse me for feeling mildly uncomfortable at watching people copulate in the most unappealing way possible.

Agreed. ME3 did the sex scene (whether with Liara, Kaidan, or Ashley, but that's just my humble opinion) well. Then we got ME3's fully clothed shower scene. I say tasteful nudity or fade to black before the clothes would come off is best.

Geralt's relationship with Triss Merigold is rather important for the plot, actually.
