Now's not a good time to discuss the education system.

The char that does the most powerful explosions in the game are the human adept (warp + shockwave) and the krogan shaman ( warp + shockwave), that is, of course, i you max both powers and choose the explosions evos.

I'd say Fury or Drell, even though neither is my favorite.

It's Volus no doubt.

Indeed. I'd be one to answer this in a technical way.

Phoenix Vanguard.
Get power bonus from charge, smash, enjoy dealing nearly 2K damage to armour if speced properly.

Drell, Slasher, and Fury are the top three. Those three can usually get off their BEs quickly and regardless of the number of tech ammo/power spammers in the game and are also less subject to cooldown and dodging of their powers. Grenades have no cooldown, Reave can't be dodged, and Annhilation Field autoprimes and can't be dodged.
The traditional caster adepts suffer from an insane dodge rate of their powers, longish cooldowns, and constant overwriting of their primes by tech ammo/powers or killing of their primed targets by squadmates as well as other issues.

The Vanilla Human Male and Shaman for single BE power. Fury and Drell are biotic explosion generators that can chain together a lot of explosions in a short period of time. The Slasher is pretty much a mixture of the two classes able to put out high burst damage like the drell and able to take sustained punishment for a while as well. Pretty much all the adepts are fairly powerful. My least favorite is the Excerb because of the low health and long cast time of lash and smash. Geth scanner is a game changer on him as well though.

Seriously? Asinine.
Personally, I think it's the Huntress. And I don't think it's close. Curious to see what everyone else's opinion was.

I'd say Ex-Phoenix Adept with Awakened Collector Adept being a close contender: the first one is just an insane crowd control machine if you know how to spec it right, and on top of that he can take down most bosses in a blink of an eye with biosplosions(and with style, just keep rolling/cancelling out smash). The latter is one of the most versatile unit to ever grace the battlefield; if you go the pure biotic route and keep chaining DS + DC + SS(then blow up the sphere, rinse and repeate) you can dish out some incredible damage, not to mention his excellent survivability.
