I did a search for "favorite sniper" and the most recent thread was 9 months old.

So I decided to make a new one!



I'm going to have to go with the Javelin - it's quite possibly the best gun in the game for wall hacking, does rediculous amounts of damage to the point of one-hit-killing scions, AND it comes with both native scope / piercing improvements.

Plus it's always fun scoring quintuple headshots on hapless troopers.

Incisor. It's the only sniper that feels uniquely satisfying to use. Widow and Javelin come in at a close second.

Black Widow, 3 shots are better than 1. Don't get me wrong I like my Javelin but Shieldgate still haunts my memories when aiming down the scope of a rifle

Since there is usually more than one enemy on the field and more than one ally that can spend enemies moving or step in the way of a shot, the black widow is usually a superior gun. The clip size helps and with the geth gear and armor piercing ammo, you can get almost all the wallhack of a javelin.

CSR is my favourite because:

On nearly any fully-shielded, gold-level enemy and on a laggy host, when enemy reaction speed is reduced, I can easilly hold a head shot for half a second. The enemy will dodge roll too late and die mid way through the animation while my ammo regens for the next assault.
