... this femShep fad never really took off, huh? 18 per cent in the 2nd game, and 18 per cent in the 3rd, who'd have imagined. And here I thought she was a "fan favorite" and "the percentage of mShep-femShep players is closer to 40-60% now".

Guess not.

Probably should have a link for that one OP.

I never played the femshep avatar myself. But then I made MaleShep as homely as possible. A kind of fracture of the milistaff stereotype?

I'd imagine lots of people (Around 65% based on the infograph) started with ME3 and with a default, male Shep. That's why the percentage difference will be so high/

I usually play both broshep and femshep. At least I did in ME1 and 2. But I started ME3 with my broshep and never got around to play through the game again. So my Femshep never got added to the statistics.

I dunno. Like him or not (i'm not that fond myself) he at least looks like a ****** sapiens. Default femShep just looks... malformed. Especially noticeable when their mugs are put side by side. Ugh.

Yeah, this too. I've been planning to do a full trilogy playthrough with femShep (has never done that), but after the 3rd game... that will never happen.

the Wrex number would support the notion that ME3 brougt a lot of new players.

I just roughed him up some, more in character imho, the base unit seemed 'high schoolish', but is was just me playing 'director' of my own mini series..lol

Default Male shepard looks badass, though I always wanted to give him a mohawk

As would using the Insanity completion and players completed a transfered save. It's hard to be precise of couse.

Only 13% play as the default Shepard for ME2, and about 50% imported.

not me, I spent money on a VG, I'm play'n it.. the hell with statistics..lol

all the grumble bugging is just a waste of mental energy. Besides, I'm gonna go on a lore mission, seek out new leads, go where no Shep has gone before. The game needs more lore..cannot have enough of that wonderful stuff!!

I think that from within the bioware heart of hearts, they wanted Sheps to hook up with Liara and have blue kids for ME future tense.. Liara is so... clingy..lol

(later to give up on the idea tho..maybe...just say'n ;)

Yeah I meant to write  just male but then looked at the graphic and for some reason assumed it was reffering to the default guy :pinched::pinched:

My point was more that we can sort of extrapolate the data and guesstimate that a considerable about of players picked up only ME3 having not played ME2.

I tried insanity once.. lasted about 0.2 nano-seconds... probably explains my dependency on lore'n stuff...

Give it another try, insanity is the most intense experience in the game. You feel very good when you get through hard levels.

It doesnt account for people playing 2nd or 3rd time.
