Just because a woman is tough, doesn't mean she can't ever do anything that could be considered "girly". She had pink armor ffs.
and talks about getting into a miniskirt for shepard in the beginning of ME. Im not a fan of what they did to her in 3, but people take the inch for a mile or two.

And of course she adopted semi-erotic combat armor and loose hair. I've never been very fond of her anyway, but it's one of the worst character castrations i've ever seen.
(p.s.: i FINALLY managed to upload a custom ava with main Shep's face!!!! This is a day of days! XD)

You're not watching him cook, you're helping him drink beer. Now sit your ass down!Kataphrut94 wrote...
Don't knock it, the Citadel DLC is probably the first time in a while where the Ashley content has actually been better than the Kaidan content. He makes us watch him cook, she makes us take shots, continually one-up each other and the re-enact a famous scene from A New Hope.

Onlky part of her content I didn't like in Citadel was Shepard's crude come-on during the drinking.
I mean, seriously, that's "romance" content?

When ME 3 Finally came along I figured THIS IS the LAST STRAW!!! Always questioning my motives, not really trusting my abilties as a captain, but quick enough to gloat to other soldiers.. going like.. "Do I know Sheppard... Yeah, I knew (Screwed) him"
Biatch please... You've abandoned me more times than a Red headed step child. Of all the characters she is my most hated supporting character in HIStory. She's such a TOOL!

I never liked Ash. Always being so butch in ME 1 acting she's born with both reproductive genetalia, then trying to be the "better person" in ME 2 by abandoning me when I asked her to join me in Cerberus for the greater good!

It fit fine if you assume they have been romantically involved. Absolutely an involved couple can (and do) play with that kind of teasing and suggestion. Unless you're mormon or something.
Crude humor and such absolutey does come out when you are involved with someone and comfortable with them.

So an unromanced Ash will spend the party being flirty and giggly with Vega... Did anyone who worked on this game even play ME1? I could buy that Ash would have a one night stand with Vega. But the whole girly girl act is SO not her. Everything Bioware did with her character is just an insult to her fans and women in genral.
Uh, the entire DLC is (mostly) a series of gags. You CAN end up with Shepard in bed with the Prothean!
I like Ashley. Aways have in spite of some initially annoying personality foibles but as I've played through many times I've found myself liking her more and more and seeing that the original fans of Ash who would say that what she says (the seeming xenophobia) is misunderstood. I agree. If you play her out over 1, 2, and 3 you can see that you may well have misinterpreted her in knee-jerk fashion.
In any case, what I find most annoying is how Bioware CLEARLY wants/expects you to go for Liara. They shove he in your face repeatedly, as if asking, "Are you SURE you don't want a little piece of Liara instead of your current choice? Are you SUUUUUURE? How about now? Wanna change your mind NOW?" That continues throughout the game and is clearly there at the beginning of ME3 on Mars just starting off.

From the mid-combat meeting/banter at the beginning, to the drinking-and-brawling together, the dialogue throughout the party -politely avoiding each other but making suggestive comments regarding the "aftermath"- and the kiss on the forehead the morning after. It tells me, they're in a relationship for more than two weeks.
It all indicates that they're a team, they know and are accustomed with each other. As opposed to, well all the other romances, they're simply past being flirty.
So accuse me of interpreting the horrible truth wrong, but I'm very much okay with that.

Actually, her romance-only content was very well done in the DLC.

I agree with everything you said. I believe some people simply take umbrage at the tone and nature of the Citadel DLC on its own terms.

I am actually okay with all of that except the crude pass during the drinking game. It just made my Shepard seem like such a neanderthal.
Well, that and Ash really isn't dressed to partake in a barfight
