That's how I feel about maleshep. I'm trying reeeeaaally hard to do just one playthrough with him....and I haven't been able to do it yet. Maybe it's the VA....or maybe I'm tired of playing stock male characters.Kronner wrote...
Agreed. FemShep = useless as far as I am concerned.
Clearly FemShep was a waste of Bioware resources...

I only play femshep.
I played broshep maybe twice.
I find Jennifer Hale's voice acting to be superior and very enjoyable.
I like this human - she/he - understand...
To OP, both male/fem sheps both have their highlights while Hale was trying to make it believable and realistic - more touching, Meer was better in jerk-action parts. ME2 - Shepard is a jerk - find it on youtube, it´s hilarious even sadistic if not sick alone in some parts, but Meer gave a jerkpard something special - something which reminds me lot of Joker in first Batman film.

youre comparing apples and oranges. changing a few values on difficulty and having a playtester polish it probably adds a few days to their 2 yr project. creating a whole new shepard that has to speak new lines, involved in new romances with completely separate characters than manshep and has quite a few plotpoints that acknowledge gender is probably a few months of work for them. I could see them reducing the number of playable classes in the future but then i could see them not doing so due to the fact that classes vary up the enemies AND squadmates. itsa sub-type used multiple times even if not played by the player directlySanunes wrote...
My GF at the time hated playing Femshep because she described it as "a man that looks like a woman" for most of the movements Femshep makes are identical to Sheploo so to me that means they use the exact same skeletal model. My thinking is immersion is being broken for some people because an "uncanny valley" of sorts, just like when I watch Dark Knight Rises Bane's voice will break me out of the movie for it screams that it was dubbed over.
Besides I doubt they would remove something that 18% of the people used before removing Insanity difficulty which only 4% of the people finished.

Hale is the superior choice by far.
