Hmm... Its hard for me to play a game after this... I still play Halo: Wars with friends but Mass Effect 3 really was a special game to me (The first and second were as well), way more then Halo: Wars was. I understand but at the same time I feel like its being abandoned for the next big thing... *Sigh*

Well, they didn't so much say "yes, we're fine with the game like this" as they said "we ran out of time to fix bugs you guys have been telling us about for months, lol byeeeeee."
But, yeah, the outstanding bugs and balance issues really lead one to believe that the devs were either not listening, playing favorites, or intentionally sabotaging the balance in order to keep us buying packs.
Either way,
They can use any variation of the "we ran out of time" excuse they want - the proof, as they say, is in the Ryncol. It's one thing to say that there "was no time to fix things," but when things on that list are things someone could fix with mod tools and about 20 minutes (such as numerical value bugs and evolution value bugs), the arguments of time and cost simply do not, as they say, stack up.
There was plenty of time and money to ineffectually go after missile glitchers for four patches. The gltichers that are still fawking there, mind - whilst the few dozen no-brainer fixes languished. There was always time to introduce new ways to break the game further, too: Like burst-firing missile troopers, hunters that could fire when knocked down/stasis'd/flying, the health gate issue, or the spawn bug.
So, yeah, I'm willing to cut them zero slack over that defense.

This.... Easy bugs to fix...

It's pretty damn disappointing that Bioware didn't decide to do one last sweeping set of balance changes before they moved on to other projects. It's not like there aren't a few weapons that are still blatantly overpowered and a few more that are unquestionably weak, so how hard would it have been to take fifteen minutes to change half a dozen variables and make all of these weapons fit well with the rest of the game's arsenal?

not sure if is the right topic, but anyone else noticed that talon's base charge cooldown increase from 60 to 99 seconds. a few days ago was still 60
Definitely the wrong topic.

I'll continue playing as long as I have friends who play though, through the cussing when I get useless Spitfires and Valkyries instead of useful URs, looking through my assault rifle group with disappointment, ignoring my Salarian engineer, skipping the sentry turrets/drones/decoys on the available classes, ignoring sabotage, stockpiling explosive ammo, etc.

The Talon Merc bug is inexcusable and is a perfect example of 'cowboy workmanship.' But what is worse is that even after it was picked up on shortly after release, Bioware refuse to patch it even when it sticks out like a sore thumb.
The Krogan Warlord's inability to climb ladders means he is completely broken as a character if you get the objectives i got on Vancouver the other day. If i'd been solo'ing i'd have been screwed because objective wave 3 i got pizza delivery and the pizza was up the ramp from the LZ then on the platform adjacent to the ramp where the ladder is. There are only two ways u can get up there. 1) vault over the small cover or 2) use the ladder. Krogan Warlord can do neither of those things (which makes no sense at all) so i was damn lucky i wasn't last man standing at that point.
Don't get me wrong, ME3 MP has been a hell of a lot of fun and i'm a great believer in that if someone messes up then they should get a second chance. You mess up, you redeem yourself by putting it right. But when Bioware is aware of such bugs that stick out like a sore thumb and then says 'we're stopping support, we have no plans to fix these things,' it kinda makes u think, "do they deserve a 2nd chance?"
I mean, can we expect this type of attitude towards patching when they release Mass Effect 4 (or whatever name they want to give it)? Or can we trust them to step up their efforts? At this point in time after current events... its a gamble. I wanna believe but im uncertain.

But on the other hand I must tell you this : I never actually enjoyed playing online, like at all. and first thing I knew I was hooked and I played I think somwehere around 110 hours. me too I wasn't sure of the online features from ME3 but in the end I LOVE IT!
Actually I am looking forward to seeing what Bioware Montreal will do with ME4's online play.
Good job Bioware I am proud to say that I am a follower from your work

Now that I've seen how they do things, I'm not even gonna waste my time with multiplayer on ME4. You play for a year & then everything just gets dropped. I kinda wish I didn't waste so much time on this one. In the end it all adds up to nothing, just a big 0.
And looking back, they never bothered to fix any of the bugs. All they ever did was nerf our best guns. We complained about the same bugs & glitches for a year & they just ignored them all. But as soon as some jackass complains that a gun is too OP we could expect it to be nerfed immediately. I don't believe that BS that there's more they would like to do & they wish they had the time. When they had the time all they did was NERF everything. 95% of the balance changes they did were completely pointless. They fixed stuff that didn't need fixing & ignored the real problems that needed to be fixed.

Thanks for all of your hard work and dedication to making this game reach the point it is at now. The amount of post-release support for this game was amazing and I couldn't ask for anyone on your team to do more than they have already done.

Very happy to hear that Bioware considers ME3MP a huge success! Thank you and keep up the good work!
They consider it a success despite the fact that they left it broken in many ways, and that's a good thing?

Honestly I am shocked that people are completely fine with this, and saying thanks Bioware you guys did a great job developing several patches for the sole purpose of stopping missle glitching. Bioware/EA allowed micro-transactions to influence balance, and once that happens you have a problem. No matter how much fun I had with this game I am disappointed that with all the micro-transaction sales EA decided that this game only deserves a year of support and that we are just "entitled" for daring to ask for more...JaimasOfRaxis wrote...

First DA2, then the ME3 ending, and now the amount of work that went into fixing missle glitching while leaving blatant bugs alone. I am really getting skeptical about future Bioware titles.
