I just wanted to say that our team has really enjoyed interacting with the community this past year through weekend events, balance changes, and discussions on the forums. We learned a lot about running a multiplayer service, and the community definitely taught us a lot about our own game through amazing gameplay videos and in depth analysis of our weapons, powers, and kits. I know Mass Effect 3 multiplayer was a bit controversial when it was announced, but I think it’s safe to say it was a huge success.

Eric, is there ANY chance of some sort of Ultra-rare pack being added in at the last minute? The game is still suffering from a lot of issues with bugs and imbalance, and if its just going to be left high-and-dry as is, the least that can be done to breath a bit of last minute life into it is to allow people to get Ultra-rares in a rather reasonable manner. There are people like me who WANT to keep playing the game, and will do so, as long as there is something to accomplish. However, I just ended a 6.5 million dry spell, and that just ruined the second wind I got just 10 days ago. Nothing takes the fun out of it like getting no reward at all.

I guarantee that people would buy it with real money to if that was an option.

I appreciate all the work you put into balancing the game and working with us, so please, if there is any chance of thing one last thing being done, try to see if it is possible.

It has been one hell of a ride! I knew,ever since I played the demo for MP, that this was going to be a excellent addition to Mass Effect. You guys really pulled it off for us! Thank You!

Don't worry, we have no plans to take down the servers any time soon. You can be sure ME3 MP will still be going for a while.

Meh. Figured after the last patch failed to fix some pretty serious and well known issues that it was very close to the end of the line for all support of the game. Was a fun ride while it lasted and ME1 and ME2 will always have a special place for me. Cheers to you guys for the hard work on those and the early days of ME3.

This, please.  I've spent a lot of money on packs and I'd like to use my toys after the servers get shut down...which will probably happen soon and without warning.
EDIT:  just saw a few posts up that the servers will be on for a bit.  Would still like offline mode when it's finally over.

So, honest question...

If the game has officially left BW's support cycle, what'd be the stance on a community balance dealie? Like, real balance, not "LAWL NERF PRIMES AND COLLECTORS".

It's hard to know if they'll still do ban waves (possibly 1 or 2 more), and if the lack of official support would mean that something like it would be bannable, but the community doing some balance work might help keep some interest going, no?

The fix for the Talon's key binding bug is a file edit.  Just a file edit and BW is going to leave us hanging like that?  That's bad form.

The fan-fix isn't perfect. A full fix would require a patch as I recall, which they'd have to spend more work doing a patch than probably any weekend op ever was.

 Thanks Bioware for all the hard work. But alas, I am overjoyed at this news. I want to play a complete game. That balance change system always made me feel uneasy.
The balance of power always seemed to change week-to-week. Will be good to see some stability finally.

Bah, humbug. Sad. Wish you'd continue, the game must still be making enough money to justify the occasional balance change given how many new players I see (*cough* carry). Still, I know it's not your decision.

Also, a large part of why the forums were/are good, the best forums in the ME3 area, is because the Devs did interact with us, and did so fairly and informatively.  When devs close down and stop talking, things get  ugly in forums.  You all made it feel like you were working with us and that you (generally) liked us.  That makes a difference.

Also ME MP was/is the best part of the game, by far and I was one of those who thought that MP is Mass Effect was a super bad idea.  Redeemed the entire game for me.  I hope you guys do as good a job on ME4.  Please fight to keep the current packs system, or something similar: no P2W or Free To Lose.  So sick of the standard F2P model.

Aaawww, sad to see the interaction come to an end. But for your first multiplayer you guys did superbly indeed. Cannot wait to see the results of the next Mass Effect game and hopefully the multiplayer that goes with it (hopefully it has a coop mode like this one too), and regardless of the complaining and whinging about bugs, it was a superb first effort!!!

Thanks for the great ride, and perhaps the greatest use of the F5 key on my keyboard ever. Alas, I won't be done with this game for some time, but I can still play it largely due to the great state it's in today!
